The post-launch support for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is coming to an end, with Treyarch shifting its attention to Call of Duty: Vanguard’s Zombies mode. However, while Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War players can finish Forsaken’s main quest to see how the story concludes, they can also get some intel that hints at where the story will go next.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War fans have already discovered that one intel piece is supposedly hinting at something from Call of Duty: Vanguard Zombies, so some of the other intel items will likely do the same. With Call of Duty 2023’s iteration of Zombies also teased by Forsaken’s final cutscene, it seems like fans of the Survival mode have a lot to look forward to. For those interested, all the Season 6 intel can be found below.

Forsaken Intel

Forsaken has a fair amount of intel to collect, though nearly half of it is made up of RNG-related Document drops. A good portion is tied to easter eggs, too, meaning players will get many of the items just by playing Forsaken naturally. All the map's intel is seen below.

  • Documents: As always, these drop from killing mini bosses. Players can get up to two per match, and it will take many matches to get all the items.
  • Requiem Audio Log 1: In the area where players spawn, this can be found on a white crate. The crate is up against a truck and shipping container.
  • Requiem Audio Log 2: In the bar across from Burger Town, this is right on the counter. One of Forsaken’s pizza delivery spots is found in the right corner of the bar.
  • Requiem Audio Log 3: If players walk into the Office near the Amplifier, this will be directly in front of them. It is up against a desk.
  • Requiem Audio Log 4: On the Storage Zone 5 Rooftops, players can find this on some wooden crates on the upper level of the roof (NOTE: This only spawns after the three orbs are destroyed around the rooftop’s crystal, which is a step of Forsaken’s main quest).
  • Omega Audio Log 1: As soon as players teleport from the spawn and into the facility, they will see a white ticket booth. Up against the side of the booth, this log can be seen.
  • Omega Audio Log 2: This log is directly to the left of the teleporter players need to repair. It is under the red overhang of the building next to the teleporter.
  • Omega Audio Log 3: Before players go down the steps in The Amplifier, this log is found on their right. It is up against some yellow railing.
  • Omega Audio Log 4: After players detonate the ARC-XD during the main quest’s arcade step, this log can be found on the TV Store counter.
  • Maxis Audio Log 1: In the Video Store with the Mule Kick machine, a mannequin with a pink shirt on is seen shopping. The audio log is on the shelf by his foot.
  • Maxis Audio Log 2: In Beach Pizza, players can find a counter to the left of the Stamin-Up machine. If they look above the counter, they will see the audio log hanging off the edge. It can be shot down and picked up.
  • Maxis Audio Log 3: After players build the Chrysalax Wonder Weapon, they can pick up this Audio Log. It drops on the floor once the Chrysalax can be picked up.
  • Dark Aether Artifact 1-3: These are the pieces picked up during the side quest where players build the Chrysalax.
  • Dark Aether Artifact 4: This is the shard picked up after feeding and killing the Abomination in the main quest.
  • Requiem Artifact 1: Players will get this intel piece when they first pick up the Chrysalax Wonder Weapon, as it is the Chrysalax itself.
  • Requiem Artifact 2-5: All four of these pieces are tied to the Neutralizer and will be acquired when players do the main quest easter egg.

Season 6’s Outbreak Intel

While Outbreak will supposedly be getting some Halloween-themed content once the Haunting event arrives, fans of the open world mode can get some more intel items inside the mode right now. Their locations are as follows.

  • Maxis Radio Transmissions: There are two new transmissions to collect for Maxis, and they are found in the same locations as always. Each region has a transmission point, and they can be seen below (NOTE: only one can be picked up each match).
  • Ruka: Creek Dacha, found in the red house on the kitchen sink.
  • Golova: On the top floor bedroom of the large white house in the Rural Houses area.
  • Armada: In the Auxiliary Bridge of the main ship on a desk.
  • Collateral: In the ruined town, players can cross a solar panel to drop into the Cafe. The Maxis-focused intel is here.
  • Zoo: In the blue Industrial Complex building on the west side of the map, this is found on a desk on the top floor.
  • Duga: To the left of the Admin Offices stairs, a small office can be found. The Maxis radio is here next to some other green radios.
  • Sanatorium: In the white building at the Market Square, it is on some white crates.
  • Alpine: In the leftmost Hillside Cabin, it is on the right side of the bottom floor.
  • Documents: There are four new documents to collect in Season 6, and they are dropped from mini bosses like Manglers and Mimics or a Golden Chest. Players can get two per game.
  • Dark Aether Audio Logs: Two Dark Aether logs can be earned via the Trials machine. Both can be obtained via Intel Trials in the same match.
  • Zoo Requiem Artifact: Inside the Gas Station with the Crafting table at the South part of the map, this item can be found. It is Weaver’s Eyepatch, and it can be found behind the red counter inside the station.
  • Zoo Requiem Audio Log: If players head to the armor stand near the Wolf Exhibit and Polar Bear Exhibit, they can find this audio log. It is in the building the armor stand rests against, and can be found under a bench to the left as soon as players walk through the door.
  • Duga Omega Audio Log: In the Crafting Table bunker at the North of the map, this item is found. If players go through the door on their left, it is up against the wall to the left of some machines.
  • Duga Omega Artifact: At the Base Entrance of Duga where a pointed statue can be seen, there will be a ticket booth. Inside this booth is Jager’s ID.
  • Ruka Maxis Audio Log: In the center of the map right next to one of Outbreak’s fishing spots, players can climb a tall red tower. On the top level of the Creek Overlook tower, this intel can be picked up.
  • Ruka Dark Aether Artifact: At the jump pad in the Northeast of the map, right by the map boundary, a tree stump can be found. The area is called the Hill Crest, and the item on the stump is an Archaic Goblet.
  • Golova Requiem Artifact: At the Lower Hillside to the West of the map, players can find a power box if they stick to the dirt road. On this box is the Tesla Storm Canister.
  • Golova Dark Aether Artifact: In Golova’s Pack-A-Punch building, players can find this intel piece on the second floor. It is on the right side of this floor, and players should go through the door on the left. The PhD Slider can is on the table.
  • Alpine Omega Artifact: If players head down from the Hillside Cabins at the South of the map, they will find a bathroom. In the right stall closest to the slopes is a Contaminated Crystal.
  • Alpine Dark Aether Artifact: At Upper Run 14, near Secluded Glove, a shack can be found that hides Zykov’s Mask inside. The area is to the North.
  • Sanatorium Dark Aether Artifact: In the Yellow Suites building right in the middle of the map, players can find a kitchen if they go through the door closest to the road. By the sink is an empty Death Perception can.
  • Sanatorium Requiem Artifact: At Market Square, which is found in the Southwest corner of the map, players can find the Requiem Director’s mug. It is in the yellow building on one of the tables.

As of now, it remains to be seen if Call of Duty: Vanguard Zombies intel will take on a format like the one used in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. Regardless, fans have a lot of collecting to do if they want to get all the lore-focused items added in Season 6.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
