Each year, the newest iteration of Call of Duty is one of the most played titles. There are many reasons to enjoy the series. The campaign is usually solid, the yearly multiplayer brings a fresh paint of coat in an experience that players have gotten used to for over a decade. Meanwhile, depending on the developer, the games can also bring added bonuses like a battle royale or Zombies. In the case of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, the Zombies mode returns and so many fans are enjoying it, though there are some game-breaking glitches.
Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War has been riddled with glitches, from multiplayer, to Zombies, and even to the integration with Call of Duty: Warzone. This most recent bug seems to ruin a run in Zombies within Black Ops Cold War.
A user by the name of u/kamikaze123456 recently uploaded a video to r/blackopscoldwar showing off an unusual but frustrating glitch. When the player went to upgrade their armor, all of their weapons disappeared and they could not use any equipment. Additionally, they could not pick up any more weapons to take down zombies, so they were stuck running around as a pacifist in the middle of the zombie apocalypse.

Commenters have chimed in on the posts saying that they have dealt with the same bug as well. Some have even claimed that it happened to them while upgrading a gun, not just upgrading armor, so something seems to be amiss. This is not the only zombies glitch in Black Ops Cold War, and it likely is not the last.
The next Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Zombies map is on the way, but some fans may want the current experience cleaned up first. Many would argue that Activision focuses too much on continual and ongoing content with Call of Duty and not enough on the games themselves being playable, glitch-free, and hacker-free. Between Call of Duty: Warzone, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, and Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, it seems that cheaters run rampant, a new glitch is discovered daily, and one or two weapons take over as the meta.
