The Call of Duty: Warzone's Season 3 mid-season update introduced two major action heroes into the battle royale environment. John McClane and Rambo, along with iconic weapons, skins, and locations from their movies, were added to Call of Duty: Warzone. While some of the Easter Eggs added were easily noticed, others are only just now being discovered by the game's community.
The action hero event only lasted a few days, but fans were impressed with the number of changes made to the iconic map of Verdansk. Call of Duty: Warzone's developers have since closed the Nakatomi Plaza vault, but the skins and their weapons remain in the game. As players take a closer look at the cosmetics from the event, one fan noticed a unique John McClane Easter Egg hidden on their MP5 SMG.
The Easter Egg was reported by BeefFlavorBubblegum on Reddit as the fan noticed a small detail hidden on their white variant MP5. As they zoomed in on the model, text became visible reading an iconic quote from the original Die Hard movie. The Call of Duty: Warzone MP5 reads "Now I have a machine gun," a reference to the elevator scene where John McClane writes the words on a grey sweatshirt. Although this is a very subtle reference, the community was ecstatic to see the reference integrated into the game. Do note that this text does not appear on the Gold or Diamond camo skins for the MP5.

To claim this weapon and the John McClane skin, players will need to purchase the Die Hard bundle from the in-game store. The Call of Duty: Warzone bundle will be available until June 18, so players hoping to claim the loot should do so soon. Included is the Legendary Operator, a Finishing Move, three Legendary Weapon Blueprints, a Legendary Calling Card, an Epic Watch, and an Epic Weapon Charm.
