Call of Duty: Blacks Ops Cold War has come a long ways since its launch nearly a year ago. On the precipice of Season 6, Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War's final season, Treyarch has begun teasing some of the goodies players will unlock in the latest Battle Pass.

Like most other modern multiplayer games, Black Ops Cold War has been consistently receiving new content in thanks to its season-structure. Every season is different, but generally, each one brings new weapons, cosmetics, operators, maps, and other surprises for both multiplayer and Zombies players alike. Some of Black Ops Cold War's Season 6 content has been revealed already like the new Zombies map, Forsaken, which is said to conclude the game's Dark Aether storyline that began in Season 1. Multiplayer fans have a new map to look forward to themselves in Deprogram, where players will fight within the destablized mind of Russel Adler, one of Black Ops Cold War's protagonists.

Treyarch has released an action packed trailer for Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War's Season 6 Battle Pass, showing off many of the unlocks players can attain. The trailer moves really fast, jumping between operators, maps, and weapons in very quick succession. Adler narrates the trailer, informing players that they are being supplied with some "highly classified gear" including the new Grav assault rifle which is very reminiscent of the Galil, and the .410 Ironhide shotgun to "pack a punch in close combat." Black Ops Cold War's Season 5 previously added the EM2 assault rifle, TEC-9 sub machine gun, and some other weapons.

Besides the weapons, there many new cosmetic items and weapon blueprints on the way. Black Ops Cold War's Alex Mason is the star of the trailer receiving two new operator skins, "Alaska" and "Aurora," with Woods receiving the clown-like "Field Day" skin, and Song getting the "Dagger" skin. As characters move across the screen, many of their weapons are flagged as special variants, like the "Heretic" Rare Blueprint, and the Gravitas Legendary Blueprint. Lastly, while showing off the new weapons, players catch a glimpse of new weapon decorations like the "Skate Deck" Epic Weapon Charm, and the "Creeping Thought" Rare Weapon Sticker.

Unfortunately, it is currently unknown how much of what is shown in the trailer will be included for free in Season 6, not requiring purchasing of the Battle Pass. As is the case with most Battle Passes, there are items available for free that become more spaced out the further into the pass players go, incentivising players to purchase the pass. Players can earn XP Tokens to help expedite their passage throught the battle pass as well as earn up to 1,300 CR to spend in the in-game store. Between Forsaken and the new Battle Pass, Black Ops Cold War players will have a lot to do when Season 6 gets underway on October 7.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
