Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War releases a new trailer unveiling details about upcoming Season 2 content. Zombies, action, and a new operator fill the themes of this upcoming season as players come face-to-face with a horde of undead. Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War may be moving on from its Rebirth island storyline, but that does not mean the two epidemics are not connected by a thin thread.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is planning an all-new Zombies experience with four new operators. New multiplayer maps, Warzone locations, and six new weapons are sure to occupy fan's time as the game's full season comes into focus. Players will receive a massive burst of content on February 25 across all platforms.

Unlike the previous Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War trailer released for Season 2, this trailer launches right into the action. Fans are greeted with a high-speed sequence of undead flooding areas of Verdansk before switching to a close-up of the new operators. The season has a jungle theme and brings players to an interesting ruins-style map. Motorcycles, cars, and an art gallery all appear in vivid detail, alongside intense action sequences showcasing new weapons and finishers. Outbreak, new additions to Verdansk, and updates to the Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Zombies give a good look into the action that Season 2 has to offer.

Season 2 will be a free content update for the Call of Duty community as the developers continue their pattern of content bursts. With Season 1's impact still visible, Season 2 is planning on making just as big of an impact, if not bigger. Call of Duty continues to evolve with every season, and this one brings the undead to unexpected places.

So far, Call of Duty: Warzone fans have been sharing methods of unlocking the Season 2 weapons early. With the Sykov pistol and CX-9 SMG already in the hands of players, new weapons continue to appear within the trailers and promotional content.

It is only a few days until Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War's Season 2 begins, but community excitement is already brewing. After Treyarch revealed that Zombies would be headed to the battle royale, fans remembered the opportunity that the undead provided in Black Ops 4's Blackout mode. Until the content is officially released, it is unknown if the undead will be nearly as helpful.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
