Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War players have no shortage of enemies to fight in Outbreak, but the most intimidating is undoubtedly the Orda. However, one Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War group has found a way to make Orda a lot less scary.

Orda encounters were added to the Outbreak mode during Season 3, and they see the massive monster having a chance to spawn in one of the Ural Mountains’ many regions. If it does appear, its icon will be seen moving around the map, with players needing to decide if they will battle the boss or avoid it as they work on their other objectives. Considering that Orda moves around on its own, though, those looking to attack it can find themselves at a disadvantage depending on where they are fighting.

As such, Reddit user burgman459 has shown players how to take Orda to a more favorable part of the map. However, instead of some clever strategy where Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War players lure the Orda from one side of the map to the other, they simply need to ram a vehicle into the Orda. While many may expect the car to explode after crashing into the boss’s tree-like limbs, it survives. Instead of putting a dent in Orda’s hefty health bar, the car pushes Orda off into the distance.

To do this trick, it seems like players will need to position a vehicle directly below Orda’s foot when he is stepping down. If done correctly, he will be seen moving on top of the car, with the driver then able to accelerate and take the Orda wherever they please. Seeing the normally terrifying Orda being driven further and further into the distance only adds to the hilarity of the clip, as the intensity of the boss fight completely fades away. The car does seem to be launched into the sky at the end of the footage, however, confirming that Orda can only be moved so much.

With Orda dropping some of the best loot in Outbreak, ranging from scorestreaks to Wonder Weapons, getting a leg up on his boss battle could certainly be useful. While players usually bring it down using a combination of Death Machines and Ring of Fire, driving Orda somewhere where it cannot attack as easily might help. Unsurprisingly, though, most of the comments focused on making jokes, such as ARCTRPER’s suggested conversation with Weaver.

With so many Outbreak clips focusing on scary encounters, seeing something this funny is a welcome change of pace. Next time players see an Orda in their match, perhaps they should consider taking it for a ride like burgman459’s group did.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
