One of the most popular Call of Duty maps ever made is Nuketown, and so it's no surprise that it has popped up in multiple games in the series. Typically, Nuketown maps appear in Call of Duty games developed by Treyarch, and soon the Treyarch-developed Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War will have a Nuketown variant of its own.

Nuketown '84 will be added to the Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War multiplayer experience for free beginning November 24. This version of Nuketown leans into a post-apocalyptic style look, with the familiar Nuketown buildings rundown and vandalized with graffiti. There seems to be a lot more detail and effects added to the environment, but the layout appears to be identical to the Nuketown maps from previous Call of Duty games. Considering this, it will likely become a favorite for those playing Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War's multiplayer.

In celebration of Nuketown '84 and the Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War launch, Activision is giving away a Nuketown Weapon Bundle. The Nuketown Weapon Bundle in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is available to anyone that logged on and played between launch and November 20, and will come included with any new purchase of the game until December 4.

The Nuketown Weapon Bundle in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War comes iwth the "Last Stop" Epic Shotgun Blueprint, six weapon charms based on Nuketown, a "Test Subjects" sticker, a "Nuketown Legend" Emblem, and an "Omnibus" Calling Card. And once Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is integrated with the Warzone battle royale on December 10, the content from the Nuketown Weapon Bundle will be made available in that game as well.

December 10 will kick off Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Season 1, bringing with it a brand new Battle Pass, even more cosmetics, new game modes, and much more. Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Season 1 will also include the addition of some new multiplayer maps, though it remains to be seen if any will match the popularity of Nuketown.

Perhaps Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War post-launch maps will include some more classic Black Ops series maps besides just Nuketown. Previously, it was rumored that maps like Firing Range and Summit would be featured in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, though that has yet to be confirmed in any official capacity. More information on Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Season 1 will likely come at some point after Nuketown '84 launches on November 24.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is out now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
