Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War recently saw the addition of Nuketown ‘84, with the iconic CoD location’s inclusion helping with the game’s current lack of map variety. However, the new map did not come without its share of bugs, as the latest Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War glitch sees players going out of the map on Nuketown.

The latest version of Nuketown sees the map taking on an appearance like that of the original Nuketown map, albeit a bit more dilapidated and graffiti covered. However, while the map may look like the original Nuketown, it boasts a major new bug which sees players going out of the map’s play area. The glitch can also work in multiplayer matches, so players should be wary of opponents possibly using the exploit in online play.

Far from the only bug in Black Ops Cold War, this Nuketown 84 trick was discovered by YouTuber Grrae’s Guides. Equipping a knife to speed up movement, the player climbs over the fence on the left side of the green house. Dashing to a cactus outside of the map, the player beats the death barrier’s countdown timer. From there, Grrae’s Guides sits comfortably, telling players how to make use of the trick.

According to the YouTuber, hardcore matches on the Nuketown ‘84 map could prove incredibly frustrating because of this glitch. The spot gives players a direct line of sight to the backyard of the green house, which will allow exploiters to drop enemies as soon as they spawn. The spot could prove just as annoying when paired with a sniper rifle in regular play, making this bug something that Treyarch needs to remove from the game as soon as possible.

Perhaps the only bit of good news regarding this out of the map bug is that it is difficult to pull off and requires practice. Like the latest Nuketown mannequin easter egg, pulling off the trick in an online match will be incredibly hard to do, as players can be seen attempting to jump the fence on and are easy targets. While the glitch spot is powerful, it loses some of its potency by players knowing it exists, so knowing that cheaters can be found out of the map should allow for them to be taken down if focused on.

In less negative Nuketown news, a free Nuketown-themed cosmetic bundle can be claimed over the next several days in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. That said, the shotgun blueprint found in the bundle likely will not reach the players hiding outside the map, making a patch for the glitch even more of a priority for Treyarch.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
