Since its launch a couple of weeks ago, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War has received numerous updates designed to improve the game's balance, fix bugs, and add new content. Now Treyarch has released yet another Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War update, along with some patch notes so fans of the popular first-person shooter know exactly what to expect.

The main thing that the Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War November 25 update does is add a Hardcore Nuketown 24/7 playlist to the Hardcore tab in Quick Play. Previously, there was only a regular Nuketown 24/7 playlist available in the game. Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War players will be able to take advantage of the game's double XP in both the standard Nuketown 24/7 playlist as well as the Hardcore variant and all the other game modes.

As far as multiplayer goes, the rest of the Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War November 25 update was focused on fixing crashes. Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War's crashing issues have been well-documented since, but now players should notice less crashes when playing Hardpoint and when trying to load into multiplayer matches. The patch notes don't address some of the more serious Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War crashing issues, which have been plaguing the Xbox Series X version of the game in particular, but hopefully an update on that comes sooner rather than later.

Meanwhile, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War's Zombies mode has also gotten some attention as part of the November 25 update. Previously, there was an issue with Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War's Zombies mode that was allowing players to earn too much XP during double XP events. While Treyarch has fixed this issue, it has also changed weapon XP in Zombies in general so that players will be able to level their weapons in Zombies at a faster pace overall.

While smaller updates like this are appreciated, it's safe to say that some Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War fans are anxious for the game to get some more substantial updates. Luckily, they won't have to wait all that much longer, as Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Season 1 is set to start on December 10. Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Season 1 will integrate the game with the Warzone battle royale, as well as add a new battle pass, cosmetic options, and much more.

Fans can expect consistent support from Activision, Raven Software, and Treyarch for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War throughout the next year, at least until the next Call of Duty game releases in fall 2021.
