In Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War the ultimate prize is the Dark Matter camo which has a unique redesign from previous iterations.

To achieve each camo players have to complete challenges on every weapon. With the variety of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War guns, players will have to work piece by piece to achieve each camo and earn their rewards.

Each weapon has their camos separated by category. For each weapon of that category, players will encounter the same challenges. This does streamline the Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Dark Matter grind, but there are still several weapons that players will have to work through to earn that skin.

SMG

Shotgun

Stripes - Destroy 50 equipment, scorestreaks, or vehicles.
Classic - 3 Kills without dying 20 times with a gun
Geometric - Destroy 50 ground-based scorestreaks or vehicles.
Flora - Destroy 50 aerial scorestreaks or vehicles.
Science - Destroy 3 scorestreaks or enemy vehicles in a single game 10 times in Multiplayer
Psychedelic - 2 Or more enemies rapidly killed 25 times.

Melee

Melee weapons are dangerous but powerful in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. While bringing a knife to a gun fight can be a challenge, players that move fast enough can benefit when completing these challenges.
