Fans who are eagerly awaiting the release of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War can get a sneak peek at what the campaign looks like, as a known leaker has posted a clip of a campaign cutscene that hasn’t been released yet. This clip, along with others that the leaker teased, gives players a chance to see what the Black Ops Cold War story is going to look like.

The beta for Cold War is a little more than a week away, but that doesn’t stop fans from wanting to get every detail they can. Known Call of Duty leaker BKTOOR has released a clip that appears to be an unreleased cutscene from the upcoming campaign. The clip is light on spoilers, mostly showing some characters and a ship, but it gives an idea of the tone and some of the music from the upcoming campaign.

BKTOOR later posted an image of a folder containing several other video files. These video titles don’t provide info on any of the new Cold War weapons or vehicles, but they do have many location names in them. Some noteworthy files include references to Vietnam, Germany, Russia, and Nicaragua. These all have a ‘cp’ tag, indicating they are part of the campaign. There are also multiplayer files included for several maps: Cartel, Miami, Moscow, Satellite, and Tundra.

Almost more interesting than these files are the two at the bottom: DOA and Forest. Both of these have ‘WZ’ in the title, indicating they are cutscenes for the Warzone game mode. With the recent news that Cold War and Modern Warfare will share the battle royale, this could be an indication as to where the game mode will be going once Cold War releases. ‘DOA’ sounds more like a game mode, likely standing for Dead on Arrival. ‘Forest’ could be a new section of the map, or maybe even a new map altogether.

Missing from these files is anything about the new Cold War Zombies mode. Fans recently got their first look at the new Cold War zombies, including a returning Nacht der Untoten map as well as the Ray Gun and Pack-A-Punch machine. There are also rumors that point to a return of the Dead Ops mode, where players fight zombies in a top-down twin-stick shooter. If this does make a return, in addition to Cold War zombies and Warzone zombies, that means a lot of undead possibilities for players.

Black Ops Cold War doesn’t release until November 13, and its beta starts October 13. There isn’t a ton of time to change what has already been made if fans are unhappy. There are plenty of Call of Duty features that Cold War can improve upon, so hopefully, fans are pleased with the end result next month.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War will release on November 13 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
