Information and rumors for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 have been trickling out in the last few months, with it being recently confirmed that Zombies would be featured in the title. Treyarch is set to reveal more information on May 17th, and it seems they are already starting to tease and build hype prior to that date.

A recent post on the Call of Duty Twitter page showed a GIF containing some scrambled imagery and reiterated the May 17th reveal date for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. Not much is shown in the scrambled image the GIF is displaying. The only things easily distinguishable is what seems to be a gun being held by a soldier and then what could be either another logo or a face that appears right before the Black Ops 4 logo pops up at the end.

This isn't the only tease that has been released regarding the title, either. There was also the aforementioned Zombie mode tease. Not only that, but the developer also posted an image on Twitter few weeks ago that depicted possible perks for the game's multiplayer. There were no descriptions of the perks to accompany the images, however, but the designs themselves could hint at what perks they pertain to.

Speaking of multiplayer, there is even more speculation regarding the mode. Another image posted on Twitter seemed to hint that the popular Pick 10 system, which Treyarch themselves introduced to the series, may be included in Black Ops 4. This would make sense, for as mentioned before, Treyarch created the feature for Black Ops 2, and it has been very well received and featured in other Call of Duty games – not just the Black Ops series.

While the most recent tweet has been just as cryptic as the others that have been posted, fans only have a few more days to wait before the developer reveals more on the upcoming game. Hopefully Treyarch will provide enough answers on May 17th to keep gamers satiated for while, at least until they decide to reveal the next bit of information on the title.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is set to release on October 12th for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
