About a month ago, Activision CEO Eric Hirshberg claimed in a call to investors that the next three years for the Call of Duty property are set to deliver the best games in the series to date, leading many to begin speculating as to what 2018's entry would be. Now, should a potentially leaked GameStop listing be any indication of what's to come for the franchise this year, then fans could be in store for Black Ops 4.

As seen in the images below shared with the Call of Duty insider site CharlieIntel, a tipster reportedly sent the outlet pictures from GameStop's internal database of listings for a bevy of potential Black Ops 4 merchandise. The listings shown in the stills are for various t-shirts and lanyards, priced at $20 and $7 respectively, with the products supposedly being due to arrive at some point in May of this year.

For those unaware, there have already been rumors circulating in regards to Black Ops 4 being released as this year's Call of Duty since last month, with multiple sources having reported to Eurogamer that the game is currently in development at Treyarch. What's more is that the scuttlebutt has pointed to the possibility that the recently introduced futuristic technological elements in Black Ops 3 will be toned down for a more "grounded" approach.

Although Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 has yet to be officially announced, this recent bit of evidence from GameStop's internal listings compounded with the previous information shared with Eurogamer all but confirms its inevitable launch. If history is any indication of when fans should expect an official announcement from Activision, then Call of Duty diehards will more thanl likely hear about it in May of this year, with followup details to come during E3 2018.
