For over a decade, the new Call of Duty game has been revealed by the end of May. However, Activision has broken from that tradition with the upcoming Call of Duty 2020, which still has yet to be revealed to the public. While fans are still waiting on news about what Call of Duty 2020 will entail, a prominent Call of Duty franchise leaker has potentially revealed some of the game's first weapons and other information.

This information comes from TheGamingRevolution, and while they have been correct about Call of Duty leaks in the past, fans should still take the news with a grain of salt. With that disclaimer in mind, TheGamingRevolution claims that Call of Duty 2020 will feature the 1911 pistol, a Colt revolver, the Daewoo K2, the M16, and what is possibly an AK-47. The names of these weapons may change, as sometimes Activision gives fictional names to real-world guns in the Call of Duty games.

As far as Call of Duty 2020 killstreaks go, TheGamingRevolution says that the new game will likely switch back to what are technically scorestreaks. Regardless, they will supposedly consist of Artillery Strike, Chopper Gunner, Napalm Strike, and the fan-favorite RC-XD, along with a killstreak that equips players with a flamethrower. Other Call of Duty 2020 killstreaks will include the standard UAV and Counter-UAV, plus the return of Dogs.

When it comes to perks, Call of Duty fans should be able to expect the usual suspects in Call of Duty 2020. According to TheGamingRevolution, this means that Dead Silence is coming back, and the Toughness perk may be in the game as well.

TheGamingRevolution also touched on some other aspects of the game in the new video, revealing that Call of Duty 2020 will apparently be bringing back Modern Warfare's Ground War mode.

Luckily, fans should find out sooner rather than later whether there's any truth to this latest leak. The Call of Duty 2020 reveal is expected to happen at the PS5 game reveal event, itself taking place any day now, and so hopefully fans get some answers sooner rather than later.

Call of Duty 2020 is in development for unspecified platforms.
