There is still a ton that fans do not know about the Call of Duty 2020 box that was shipped to the streaming community. Although the puzzle only led to another puzzle, fans are still going through the contents searching for any possible connection to the Call of Duty franchise.

While it was quickly established that the map pieces inside the Call of Duty 2020 crate were of Summit, fans are still searching for all the numbered map locations. While some look like they are in Russia and Europe one fan noticed that image 3 resembles a fairly familiar location.

Inside the Call of Duty 2020 streamer crates were several locations labeled by shipping numbers. The image labeled three showed what originally looked like a coastline. After some digging, fans are now starting to believe that the location is actually on Staten Island, New York City. Looking at the two locations side by side, it seems believable, as the bold white lines in the found image could represent city district lines breaking off certain sections of the map based on what is and is not officially in the New York area. Sections of the map that are not New York state are simply nonexistent giving it a coastline appearance.

There is not much information about this means. Some fans are predicting a map, similar to Piccadilly, set in New York while others think there will be a subvert operation taking place there. This is only one of the four Call of Duty 2020 maps confirmed to fit a location.

New York City is actually rather famous for their actions during the Cold War. Fort Tilden, a location north past the Rockaways, once housed an entire missile defense force meant to counter any possible Russian attack. As a member of the Nike Missle System, they were designed to bring down missiles safely in the ocean and protect population centers, like New York City, from destruction.

The city is littered with hidden Fallout Shelters in some unusual locations. One of the most well-known examples is actually hidden deep inside the Brooklyn Bridge and it one of the most well-stocked shelters in the city. One shelter was advertised to be a luxury survival center, and it has still yet to be discovered.

The location was said to be an underground mansion over 5000 square feet in size. It included Cold War Era state of the art technology, luxury accommodations, and even had a simulated outdoor patio with water features. After having its design demonstrated it is still unknown what fate the shelter had met after being sealed and hidden away somewhere in New York.

Call of Duty: 2020 is in development by Treyarch and Raven Software.
