When it comes to Warzone, players are trying their best to win against their enemies. Players might be wondering about what weapons to use or the best location to drop into at the start. There is another thing players need to take into consideration when they play Warzone — what items they pick up or buy.

Items can range from the killstreaks players can buy to a spotter scope players can find in a chest or on the ground. While players might think they need to rely on picking the best weapon up, they also need to consider using items to get an advantage.

10 Spotter Scope

The spotter scope can be picked up from the ground or found in a chest. The advantage of using the scope is that it does not give off a glint. That means players can pair the scope with the Ghost perk and be a hidden sniper team. The scope also gives players the advantage to ping enemies from far away. While it might not seem like it would be that much of a helpful item, it might just save a team from enemies.

9 Self-Revive Kit

A self-revive kit can be the difference between life and death. A player's friends might try to rush out and revive a teammate, leading to a team wipe. Players who have a self-revive might just be able to surprise the attacking team. The kit can be bought at a Buy Station or can be found in certain chests. With this kit, players who are the last alive in a team might be able to keep the team from being eliminated.

8 Armor Plate Bundle

While it might seem like a good idea to buy an armor box, it might actually be cheaper to buy an armor plate bundle. Especially if a player is only playing duos, it would save the team money to buy individual bundles.

While an armor box would give all 8 shields, there are plenty that can be found on the ground.

7 UAV

The UAV is useful in its own right — it will let players know where enemies are close to them. The thing is, players will have to wait about 3 seconds to get an updated position on the enemy. What players might not know is that there is an advantage to buying a few UAVs in a row at a buy station. Calling in 3 UAVs in rapid succession will give players a new view on their map. They will see all players moving in real time and what direction they are facing, giving their team a huge advantage.

6 Gas Mask

Players can find the gas mask in a chest or by buying one. If the player is very lucky, they might be able to loot one off an enemy they have killed. Gas masks can be used to go into the gas for a short amount of time without taking damage. This can give a team a huge advantage at ambushing enemies who have their back to the gas. It will also let players wait out enemies near them, allowing for a safer chance at getting into the safe area.

5 Shield Turret

Players can find a shield turret very rarely from chests. The turret gives players a little extra firepower from any location they might want to defend. With rapid fire, it could help destroy an enemy vehicle or wipe out an unsuspecting squad.

The shield turret allows players to spin 360 degrees, meaning they can attack enemies from any side. Setting up towards the end of the match can give players an extra amount of firepower needed to win the game.

4 Recon Drone

Recon Drones can be found in chests and can be used to scout ahead of the team. It can even be used as a weapon in some cases — teammates can attach C4 to the drone and detonate it near enemies. The drone is small enough, allowing it to fly into buildings and figure out where enemy teams might be hiding. Enemies might even give away their positions by shooting at the drone. With this, the drone operator's team can rush in and potentially have a team wipe.

3 Loadout Drop Marker

Players getting their load outs in Warzone

It is exciting when a loadout drop is announced, but there is one problem. Enemy teams might camp where a loadout is, opening fire as a player tries to get their loadout. One way to get around this is to buy a loadout marker and call it in in a safe location.

If a team is lucky enough, they might find enough money to call in a loadout very early in the game. This will give the team an advantage, as they will have their personal weapons while other teams will have scavenged weapons.

2 Trophy System

A trophy system can be found while looting chests. They can be used to defend a player's vehicle from rockets, disappearing after blocking 3 shots. It is also small enough, so enemy players will most likely not notice it as they shoot. It can also be deployed inside of buildings, defending teams from enemy RPG shots.

1 Precision Airstrike

The Precision Airstrike can be found in orange chests or bought at a buy station. It can give the player an advantage when they corner enemies, as they can cause the enemies to scatter or be killed by the airstrike. As the name suggests, the airstrike is precise and will aim where the player calls it in at. It is also useful against enemies in smaller buildings. The airstrike can potentially down or kill an entire squad if they are in one of the sheds around Verdansk. It can also provide cover, allowing an entire team to rush in and kill a squad.
