Since the launch of Call of Duty: Warzonemillions around the world have joined in to play the battle royale. The game has continued to be supported by Activision and looks to be riding high on its early success.

While players online are hoping to rack up kills and wins with optimal strategies and the best loadouts for the battle royale, the developers probably didn't foresee anyone using a steering wheel to get kills and take down the competition in the game.

YouTuber Noel Miller took up a rather ridiculous Warzone challenge recently by using a steering wheel as his accessory for play, meaning he used it to control his in-game character. Noel was extremely limited, as the steering wheel doesn't have any joystick movement. While he could walk, Noel was only able to strafe side to side and couldn't actually aim his weapon at any angle. The control option gave him a massive competitive disadvantage, which made for some laughs. His steering wheel did make him one impressive getaway driver, however.

When Noel did inevitably die, he was sent to the Gulag for a good old fashioned one-on-one battle. Noel amazingly won his duel as he was pinned against the wall. There are many ways to outsmart an opponent in the Gulag in Warzone, using a steering wheel is not one that anyone would expect.

Recently Activision banned over 50,000 cheaters on Warzone, and it promised to take action moving forward to stop any hacking. That could include not allowing foreign controllers to be plugged in, so even though a steering wheel doesn't give much of a competitive advantage, it may be something that isn't allowed for long. Still, it is good for a few laughs on a live steam and follow-up video.

Players are often looking for any way to gain an edge in online shooters. It's helpful to know which weapon will break armor the fastest in Warzone, for example, so that person can win a gunfight in a pinch. But also, players are looking to have some fun. And sometimes that means slapping a steering wheel on and letting loose.

Call of Duty: Warzone is out now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
