Cheating is a frequent topic in the Call of Duty: Warzone community. Every week, there are more talks about hackers, cheaters, bands, and problems within the popular battle royale game. The one thing that many players lack is a chance to actually talk with a Warzone cheater and learn a little about what they do and why they do it.

It is no secret that Activision and Infinity Ward have been working on this, even being offered advice from a Warzone hacker on improving its anti-hack software. Members of the game's community don't always get the same insight and perspective as talking to a cheater mid-game in a shooter can become a challenge.

Popular Call of Duty: Warzone streamer TimTheTatman took the time to have a full conversation with a cheater mid-match. After a normal game takes a quick turn as a result of the hacker's instant headshots with a KAR rifle using an aimbot Warzone hack. TimTheTatman decides to spectate the player for a chance to see how blatant the cheating really is. During the spectate time, TimTheTatman realizes that the hacker has pulled up the stream. He calls out "nod up and down if you can hear me," and the hacker immediately nods. Thus starts a rather interesting exchange.

TimTheTatman sits back and enjoys the show as the hacker continues to instant lock on enemies, watching the obvious signs the player is using an aimbot. The hacker fires into the mountain range and then turns to the sky sniping a parachuting player with the KAR rifle without a scope.

Around halfway through watching TimTheTatman asks if this is an alt account. In response, the hacker nods up and down affirming that even a ban would not stop them. His second question: did the hacker unlock Damascus by himself, and again the hacker nods yes, continuing the dialogue. That is when TimTheTatman realizes that if that is true, then this guy has had his account for over a year. When he asks the hacker directly, the hacker once again nods yes.

It was revealed that the hacker has not been cheating for over a year causing TimTheTatman to assume that this is probably a recent case. He immediately asks whether or not he is worried about getting banned and the hacker responds with no. The nonchalant attitude of the hacker is concerning on multiple levels. Either the player does not care at all, or he knows something about the report system that everyone else doesn't. No matter the case, this still gave TimTheTatman and his viewers a little insight into the life and mind of a Warzone hacker.

Call of Duty: Warzone is available on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
