Call of Duty: Warzone continues to be a massively successful title for Activision thanks in large part to the fact that its free to play. Naturally, without a paywall, this has also led to some less than desirable behavior, namely cheaters and hacking which continue to be a plague without an end in sight. While Raven continues to ban known cheaters, hackers have seemingly upped the ante recently by introducing their own custom Warzone skins to use.

In addition to the hacking issues, Call of Duty: Warzone has seen its fair share of glitches and bugs as well. Some have certainly been game breaking, such as players finding their way under maps in order to easily kill the other team, while others have ranged from hilarious to simply annoying. This latest bug found by the community certainly falls into the harmless and fun category as players managed to cause some very odd and interesting things to happen during a match.

Using a private lobby, YouTube mythbusters DefendTheHouse started a match with 130 players. The goal of this wasn't to see who could be the last squad standing, instead it was to test the limits of the Call of Duty: Warzone servers. All 130 players set out to see how many Loadout Drops could be called in at one time, to which everyone arrived at the center of the map at the aquaduct. What resulted was pure chaos as the loadouts began falling out of the sky like a waterfall of boxes.

With this much going on, as well as all of the player and vehicle movements, animations, and stage effects, the servers began downgrading the experience on the fly to try and keep up. The first thing noticed is that player characters looked like they were taken from a PlayStation 1 era game, becoming all blocky and lacking texture. Before long, the servers began to struggle keeping up with the near endless supply of boxes as many ended up flickering and phasing in-out of existence. What may be more impressive is that the servers ultimately held up, even after all of the players and chaos happening.

Just recently, Raven managed to address a big community concern related to the game's cargo trucks. The developer managed to reduce the spawn of these vehicles after many in the community, including influencers like Dr. Disrespect, felt they were too overpowered towards the end game, giving players added mobility, protection, and power. In addition, players discovered a very strange bug where these vehicles were able to kill players without even moving. Worse yet, the death prevented players from using self-revive, meaning that the glitch was even more devastating than originally thought.

Call of Duty: Warzone is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
