In Call of Duty: Warzone, players use tons of different strategies and techniques to gain an advantage over the competition. While some fans prefer an aggressive playstyle, others enjoy staying in one place and "camping" throughout the round. While there are plenty of well-known strategies for the game, players still find a way to invent new tricks for their next Call of Duty: Warzone drop.

In games like Call of Duty: Warzone, camping is a frowned-upon practice. Many players see it as a weak tactic in a game that revolves around killing enemy players. By simply sitting in one spot on the map, players are much harder to kill, which can often frustrate more aggressive community members. Despite this, a Call of Duty: Warzone fan used an interesting trick to get around campers hiding in the Quarry building.

In a video posted by hkhu1 onto Reddit, the player can be seen climbing up a ladder. Upon entering the building, footsteps can be heard upstairs as they approach a nearby stairwell. It is clear that they are aware that enemies are on the upper floor, so they preemptively booby trap the stairwell before turning back to the door and returning to the ladder. Looking over, they can see an open window that leads to the third-floor room where the suspected Call of Duty: Warzone players are hiding. Bravely, this player leaps and grabs onto the edge granting them access to the room where two enemies are carefully watching the trapped stairwell. Surprised by their attacker, the two players are downed quickly and relieved of their camping position.

This trick has gained popularity among the Call of Duty: Warzone community as it works on multiple windows throughout Verdansk. In a second clip posted by tomvr13, the player climbs onto a concrete overhang and turns to the left. Seeing a clear window of opportunity, the player leaps over and manages to slip inside. Once there, the player has full access to flank an enemy player who is carefully locked on the stairwell leading up to the second floor.

Call of Duty: Warzone fans are slowly mastering this trick as a way of circumventing single-access stairwells. By carefully judging the window distance and timing their action button, players are able to catch more enemies off guard and survive what is normally a difficult assault. Many in Call of Duty: Warzone's community considers this tactic completely fair as it requires no exploits or bugs to be performed.

Call of Duty: Warzone is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
