Back in June, Season 4 brought a wealth of content into Call of Duty: Warzone including the new legendary operator known as Jackal as well as vehicles, weapons, and more. However, one of the more intriguing elements to the update were the Red Doors newly scattered across the Verdansk map. These have quickly become very popular for players as they not only act as a teleporter, moving teams across the map, but they also lead to rare loot giving typically players a significant advantage.

Even though Red Doors have quickly become a fan favorite mechanic, they're unfortunately not immune to the typical issues found within the game. Call of Duty: Warzone is well known for its constant barrage of bugs and glitches, and these red doors have had some big issues in just over a month since they were added. In fact, players discovered a game breaking glitch associated with Red Doors as cheaters began using them to hide in the floor of the supposed safe rooms. Unfortunately, the level of issues associated with them has been on the rise.

Over on the Call of Duty: Warzone subReddit, players have been reporting a number of frustrating issues when using Red Doors during a match. One user named Nycism posted a video of their squad discovering a Red Door at the top of the staircase and after attempting to use it, the door simply disappears much to the surprise of the players. Hilariously, the sound and visual effects still occurred as expected, though the team was left on the roof.

According to comments on this post, this tends to happen if the destination is out of the circle and in the gas. It's still an unfortunate side effect, and some players even commented that the doors were depositing players in weird spots. In fact, one player mentioned that the doors ended up splitting the squad by depositing them in different parts of the map entirely.

This behavior was apparently caught by another content creator named JotaJota STI who posted the strange occurrence related to the randomized Red Doors. However, in this case, their squad ultimately benefited. After locating a Red Door, JotaJota STI's teammate went through by themselves. Once the door closed, JotaJota STI then reopened the door and was warped to a completely different room with unopened loot. While this was a major boost to the team, both players are supposed to end up in the same room regardless of when the door is opened, so clearly this is unintended behavior.

While this unexpected behavior is no doubt frustrating for players, Raven may be a bit preoccupied on another bug which was recently discovered. Warzone players have found a way to earn an unlimited supply of Trophy Systems, basically rendering projectiles like grenades useless. Using the Restock perk, players have discovered a way to launch as many trophy systems as they want.

Call of Duty: Warzone is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
