In the massive battlefield of Call of Duty: Warzone, players must be ready to take on enemies from every angle. Randomized circles, different drop locations, and pure luck all influence the match as multiple squads drop into Call of Duty: Warzone looking to win.

While most combat maneuvers are learned through experience, occasionally members of the Warzone community share their skills with others. One situation that has killed many players since the launch of Call of Duty's Warzone battle royale mode is ladder campers - players who sit and wait at the top of ladders. Thankfully, one hardcore player has a few useful tips to share on how to handle those types of players.

In the video, Reddit user tubularxd shows fans his way of dealing with rooftop ladder campers in Warzone. First, he marks a ladder camper for the camera before sieging into the house. Giving each floor a once over, he proceeds to the highest point via stairs and stops near the base of the ladder. Once they got on the ladder they simply climbed up slightly, poked their head out, and fired the pistol rather than completing the climb animation. Due to pistols being a one-handed weapon, tubularxd was able to hold onto the ladder while still gunning down the enemy player.

In the comments, tubularxd points out that this strategy works on the fire station towers as well. Due to the fact that the enemy can not shoot down the ladders, he takes advantage of the ability to shoot up them. This allows him free movement through ladders on the map, without any concern of getting downed due to slow animations.

Another fan broke down exactly why this works stating that it is due to the netcode of the game itself. From the perspective of the camper, they are unable to use any of Call of Duty's best ladder camping strategies to hold off an attack. This gives just enough time for quick-triggered fans to gun down the camper and then move on to other ventures.

Akimbo pistols also work for this strategy, but when the player aims at the enemy they will be shown wielding only one pistol. This is mainly due to the other hand still being busy holding onto the ladder.

Still, this is a fast and efficient way to deal with a standard Warzone camping strategy. While most fans do not wield pistols in their loadout, this may be enough of a reason to change their minds.
