Solo battle royale is the most difficult mode in Warzone. Gamers do not have anyone to help them loot, and there are no teammates available for a buyback. The solo battle royale experience is completely different than squads. The pace of play will be slower, and opponents will be much more cautious.
As a result, gamers need to adapt to a particular gameplay style to get victories. Players should by no means camp in a building for an hour. However, playing slower in the final zones will help players have more success. Gamers that want to get their win total up should incorporate the strategies listed in this article.
Where To Drop
In the first five to ten minutes of a match in Warzone, about fifty players will be killed and lose in the gulag. Players that want to win need to pick a location that is relatively safe and has enough cash for a loadout. There is no perfect drop to get wins. Instead, gamers should look at the map to determine where the zone will move, and where the hot spots will be. Solo Warzone players should not land in a location with the below attributes:
- Near the center of the circle
- No nearby store
- Hot Drop (Superstore, Hospital, etc.)
- Near A Scavenger Contract
Every player should have at least one go-to spot. By landing in the same location a handful of times, players can get a sense of where the guns spawn and where the loot boxes are. Additionally, solo gamers will develop better map awareness and movement in that location as a result. Other players that drop in the same spot will usually not have the same knowledge and experience of that area, giving gamers an inherent advantage.
Prioritize Looting
It can be tempting to push red dots on the map early in a match. However, the sooner players get their loadout the better chance they have of survival. Solo gamers need to save up at least $14,000 for a loadout and UAV at the beginning of the match. By looting enough to afford a loadout and UAV, players will increase their chances of winning tenfold. Scavenger contracts are tempting, but completely unnecessary. In almost every area of the map, players can find the cash they need without a contract. If there are no self-revives in the spawn area, gamers need to get self-revive first before buying a UAV. After the patch a few months ago, self-revives spawn everywhere, and players should have no trouble picking one up.
Ride Big Bertha To Victory
The large armored truck is an incredible asset for solo Warzone players. The hitbox on the truck is incredibly small, and enemies will struggle to hit shots while gamers are traversing the map. Experienced gamers use the bertha as a tool to peek in third-person. All of the vehicles in Warzone allow players to get a third-person view of the surrounding area, and in the bertha, they will not have to be too worried about getting shot out.
The drive-by method is extremely effective in solo modes, as there is always just one enemy to take out. Players in a vehicle will always have a marked advantage over players that are on foot out in the open. Gamers walking on foot have no idea when or where the driver of a vehicle will jump out and peek. In the final circle, gamers that are lucky enough to have the armored truck can use it to identify enemy locations and as cover if necessary. There is a reason why Warzone players with the most wins in solos use the bertha in every match.
Loadout And Spacing
The current meta in Warzone is a sniper support class. Most gamers will have a Kar98 or SPR paired with a close-range weapon such as the RAM-7 or FFAR. However, in solos, players need their secondary to have slightly more range and accuracy. Ninety percent of the gunfights players get into in solos will be beyond 20 meters. Solo gamers need to have a weapon with controllable recoil that is viable from medium to long-range. The M4 and Grau are the most consistent secondary weapons for gamers that are trying to increase their win total.
Solo players should never push buildings or opponents with a height advantage. Instead, sniper challenges are advisable, if the player has a self-revive. By keeping a distance between opponents, gamers will be able to crawl behind cover and self-revive before an enemy can finish off their kill. Warzone players that are committed proper spacing should always have an airstrike toward the end of a match. The airstrike can be used to finish off downed opponents and force players from cover in the final circle. Near the end of a match, UAVs will not be very useful, and players should purchase an airstrike or cluster instead.
