Since the beginning of season 5, Call of Duty: Warzone players have been experiencing a game-breaking and strange graphical glitch. Some player's guns would start to spasm, making it difficult to see and for enemies to see them. Infinity Ward and Activision have been silent on social media, but players have now found that a fix is in the works.

Call of Duty: Warzone is a lot of things, and fans have been genuinely satisfied with the franchise's take on the battle royale franchise, but it has had no shortage of glitches. Some of these are minor things that fans can just deal with, but others are genuinely game-breaking and have the potential to ruin players' experiences.

This most recent Call of Duty glitch definitely falls in the latter category, as it can make it very difficult to aim when the glitch happens to the player and even harder to hit the opponent when the glitch happens to them.

The video above shows TeeP competing in a Call of Duty: Warzone tournament. In this instance, money was on the line, and though TeeP manages to come out on top in this battle, it's unclear how the glitch was affecting the other player. Thankfully, players have found that a fix for the bug is underway by looking at the Call of Duty: Warzone Trello task board. Here it can be seen that the issue is labeled "in progress" and that a ticket has already been open on it.

There are a few peculiar things here that are worth looking at, however. For starters, astute fans may notice that the card was created over a month ago on June 30, well before players started experiencing the glitch. Furthermore, it seems to downplay its relevance as well, not marking it with any kind of high priority tag. It could be that the glitch started occurring around this time and only after the Warzone  Season 5 update has it gotten worse to the point where players are noticing.

Either way, hopefully, increased pressure from players results in the devs finding a solution for this issue a bit quicker, as most would agree that this issue can't be allowed to persist. The frequency with which it is happening and the magnitude of how it affects the gameplay is unlike anything Call of Duty: Warzone players have seen yet. Odds are it's at the top of Infinity Ward's list, but only time will tell for certain.

Call of Duty: Warzone is available now on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
