While fans have expressed frustration over some of Call of Duty: Warzone's design decisions, the battle royale game has remained immensely popular, with Warzone hitting 60 million players in the few short months since launch. The game has had its ups and downs, but a new glitch seems to suggest something big may be headed its way.

Players are beginning to report miniguns dropping in Warzonethough they're glitched and can't be used. Instead, the weapon just floats there, fully modeled. Those familiar with Modern Warfare's multiplayer will recognize the minigun as the Juggernaut killstreak's weapon, which allows players to rip through others on the map. Some believe Juggernauts may be headed to Warzone because of the weapon.

It's unlikely that the Juggernaut would be featured as a standard killstreak in Warzone, as it would be a bit overpowered and doesn't really fit with Warzone's gameplay style. However, some believe that Juggernauts will get their own Warzone playlist, allowing all players to fight over the armor and a machine gun, helping them survive to the end of the round. This has been supported by prominent Call of Duty leaker ModernWarzone, who claims that a Juggernaut mode has been in the game's files for some time.

A Juggernaut mode would certainly be a twist, changing up the Warzone formula players are familiar with. With the possibility of changes coming to Warzone's map next season, it makes sense that Infinity Ward would want to dry something new with the game, even if that means spicing it up with a unique mode.

Playlist rotations aren't new to Call of Duty: Warzone, either, sometimes to the chagrin of players, in the case of Warzone's trios mode. That said, it's also possible that the Minigun will simply be added as a legendary weapon, forgoing the suit and keeping the other aspects of Warzone in place. Right now, a dedicated Juggernaut mode is just speculation, and should be taken with a grain of salt.

Juggernaut is one of Modern Warfare's more interesting killstreaks. It didn't stir up as much controversy as Modern Warfare's white phosphorous, though that isn't a bad thing. If the Juggernaut mode is real, players can likely expect it sometime during Season 4, but it's still too early to tell.

Call of Duty: Warzone is available now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
