Call of Duty: Warzone has seen several invincibility glitches in the past, many of which have seen Verdansk plagued with exploiters looking for cheap wins. However, it seems like Rebirth Island fans are not safe either, as Call of Duty: Warzone players have found invincible enemies in the small-scale mode.

Much like the endlessly returning Stim glitch, Call of Duty: Warzone has struggled with issues that see players becoming invulnerable to any damage. Invincibility glitches have been triggered in several ways, such as certain Gulag respawns and teammate redeploys. Other, more intentional methods have seen players using the Stadium location’s pillars to their advantage. The newly discovered Rebirth Island exploit seems to be triggered in a different way, however.

The latest Call of Duty: Warzone invincibility glitch was captured on video by tenXeXo, and the clip begins with the player sharing their confusion about how they died. Looking at a wall in Rebirth Island’s Chemical Engineering location, the player soon learns that they died at the hands of someone glitched into the location’s walls. Stuck under the map, the cheater cannot be seen or killed by players above ground, though sadly they can still gun down opponents with ease. Though the Redditor does not know for sure, this was likely pulled off by parking a vehicle near the wall, the same method used for similar exploits

A truly frustrating bug, this is hardly the only time players have encountered cheaters that clip into walls. Considering that Chemical Engineering is usually filled with people, though, the glitch-user will likely be able to rack up kills easier than in any other wall spot. With no known way to kill the person hiding in the walls, players should avoid Chemical Engineering in all their matches going forward. As of now, the only silver lining is that these cheaters will die to the storm unless they are lucky enough for the circle to land close by.

Hopefully, Raven Software can deliver a fix for this problem sometime soon. Previous bugs of this magnitude have seen entire game modes removed, as players going invisible saw Armored Royale taken out of Call of Duty: Warzone. With Rebirth Island Resurgence being one of the most popular game modes available, it would be a shame to see a situation where similar steps need to be taken. As of now, though, players can only report the problem and wait for a response from the game’s developer.

While the clip’s poster believes the glitch is tied to the Call of Duty: Warzone’s Season 2 update, others believe it has been in the game since Rebirth Island arrived. If this is true, it seems likely that players will be waiting a while for a proper fix to be made.

Call of Duty: Warzone is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
