Recently, the official Call of Duty Twitter account has been teasing details for Call of Duty: Warzone. While nothing has been officially confirmed, many fan theories are hoping that new operators or skins are on the horizon. Call of Duty: Warzone has previously crossed over with popular movie titles, and these references suggest that it may happen once again.

After the game moved into the past with Verdansk '84, the developers started Tweeting references to popular movies. Call of Duty: Warzone has already received a reference to Rambo, and now it appears that Die Hard could also be coming to the game. In an interesting promotional Tweet, the developers are advertising an unusual air duct cleaning service.

The Call of Duty Tweet showcases an image with several open-air ducts along with the title "Nakatomi Duct Cleaning." At the bottom is a reference to the famous line from Die Hard, as the advertisement wants fans to say "Yippee Ki Yay" to dust. The bottom of the advertisement has the year "1988" as the start of Nakatomi Duct Cleaning, the same year that Die Hard was released. In the movie, there is a scene where actor Bruce Willis crawls through the air ducts with a lighter to infiltrate the building full of terrorists. This iconic scene no-doubt inspired this advertisement, and Nakatomi happens to be the name of the company that the movie revolves around.

While this is not a confirmation of what is being added, it is the second movie reference to come from the Twitter account. Call of Duty: Warzone previously crossed with Texas Chainsaw Massacre and SAW for Halloween, and now it seems that '80s action movies are on the horizon for in-game content.

Call of Duty: Warzone has space for new operators and skins, and action heroes would be a perfect addition to the battle royale environment. While there are tons of '80s movies that could be added to the game, the developers are choosing some high popularity options.

To further the reference to the popular movie Die Hard, the developers replied to a fan comment referencing a famous line from the movie. Players in the comments continue to share their excitement, and some are suggesting other famous actors be added as Call of Duty: Warzone skins in the inevitable movie update. With many different options for the developers to use in the '80s timeline, action movies are gaining positive fan reception as a possible content update.

Call of Duty: Warzone is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
