Several weeks after the Cold War update in Warzone, it is clear that Raven has made a number of changes behind the scenes. The Kilo and R-9 were stealth nerfed, and the Cold War guns are a mess. Some small changes to the map have been discovered and a lot of things are completely broken. Raven did their best to try and integrate the huge mass of content on a short timetable. However, many of the things outlined do not appear to be intentional.

Several small patches have fixed many of the issues in the game, but some still remain. Casual players might have no idea that some of the things mentioned below are present in the game. The Warzone community is hoping for some positive changes to Verdansk. Raven should start with the DMR meta and glitches plaguing the game.

10 The Cold War Guns Are Broken

Most players know that the Warzone Cold War weapons do not have the same stats as their Cold War multiplayer counterparts. The AK-47, for example, is completely unusable in Warzone due to its horrific recoil. Raven had to change the damage values of the Cold War guns to account for the fact that Warzone players only have 100 health. However, the recoil patterns and bullet velocity should at least be similar. Players are still waiting for the changes needed to make many of the Cold War guns usable in Warzone. The Kilo and AMAX are still better than many of the Cold War guns.

9 The AUG Has Extremely Low Bullet Velocity

AUG Cold War

The bullet velocity on the AUG is incredibly slow, even with the best attachments. From range, players can watch as the three bullets drop extremely quickly. Without attachments, the AUG has a bullet velocity of 320 meters per second, which is nearly 400 less than the base M16.

With the Agency Titanium barrel, players can boost the velocity to 700, but the bullet drop is still not competitive. With a better bullet velocity, the AUG could actually be a good gun in Warzone if the DMR gets nerfed.

8 Barrels Do Not Work As Intended

Groza Cold War

The attachments on many of the guns are useless, broken, or pointless. For example, all barrels that increase fire rate also increase bullet velocity, which contradicts the descriptions in game. Players that are not currently using barrels that increase fire rate should. The titanium barrels will give players increased bullet velocity with no negative effects. Raven should be taking steps to fix all these issues in a future update. What player is going to put a flashlight on their gun instead of a laser?

7 Sniper Scopes Have No Glint

Cold War Sniper

Two of the longest ranged scopes do not have sniper glint in game. Both the 1x-10x and the 1x-20x do not produce a glint while aiming down sight. Players are getting sniped from miles away without being able to identify the enemy player. Snipers with 20x scopes are roaming Verdansk hiding on rooftops and in bushes. Raven needs to fix this problem soon. Coupling these long range scopes with the power and accuracy of the DMR makes the game unplayable at times.

6 Specialist Bonus Slows Down Reload

Players looking to get the specialist bonus Easter egg should not use Cold War weapons. There is a glitch in the game that slows reload times by a noticeable margin despite the fact that the bonus should decrease reload times. In gunfights that require a quick reload, players will be put in difficult positions. The reload add will be around 50 percent depending on the weapon.

5 Loadouts Are Still Bugged

The loadout glitch from the integration is still not fixed. After testing the glitch for several matches, it appears that about a third of the time players will be stuck in a frozen frame for several seconds while trying to get their loadout. The extremely annoying bug will definitely get players killed in certain situations.

The speculative fix did not work, and the issue needs to be patched. Thankfully the glitch does not happen every time, but after two weeks players expect more from Raven.

4 There Is A Hole On The Runway

Call of Duty Warzone map

One of the minor map changes during the integration was a giant hole on the runway in Verdansk. Once again players call for big changes and the developers add an insignificant feature to the map. Rebirth Island is a fun map to play, but it is a repackaged map from Black Ops 4. The community demands changes to Verdansk or the addition of a map that is actually new. The hole is a great spot to get loot quickly, however. Many players in Verdansk do not know about the change. There is likely an Easter egg or two in this new location, so players who enjoy completing them should check the area out. Along with the bunker locations, the new spot on the map is one of the best places to get cash for a loadout at the beginning of a match.

3 Secret Warzone Statistics

DMR Warzone

When Warzone was launched, players were unaware that Infinity Ward assigned different damage range drop-offs in Warzone. Many of the you tubers testing the range values of the weapons in Modern Warfare assumed that they were the same in both modes. Instead, weapons like the MP7 and Kilo were given much better damage range values that the multiplayer versions of the weapons. Both the MP7 and Kilo were two of the best guns at the game's launch. It is very likely that there are other guns with different statistics from Modern Warfare. The different values were identified by prominent Youtubers after the Kilo nerf was revealed.

2 The Fennec And ISO Were Buffed

Fennec Warzone

One of the lesser known changes during the integration was a buff to both the Fennec and ISO. Both of the guns received a damage range buff and are just a little bit better in Warzone. The Fennec is better than the ISO, but it has a small magazine and players are much better off with the MP5 or MAC-10. Hopefully the guns will be usable after more weapon balancing.

1 Invulnerability On Rebirth Island

Dropping down in Call of Duty Warzone

Players respawning on Rebirth Island have an invulnerability while dropping in. The Invulnerability lasts for several seconds and it will go away once the player is at a lower altitude. Rebirth Island players should wait until the enemy dropping in is relatively low before wasting ammunition. Players should watch their ammo, especially when using the small 25 round magazine on the FFAR.
