When Call of Duty: Warzone first launched, many quickly realized how different it was from the standard battle royale game. It took everything and made it unique, including dropping with a gun, a huge player count, and perhaps most of all, the Gulag. Many love it as it is a way to stay in the game after the first death, but that's far from the only innovations in the game.

Others include the Buy Stations, the Contracts, and more, all of which add up to make an experience unique to Call of Duty: Warzone. While it is incredibly popular, some miss or prefer a more streamlined experience like PUBG. Either way, Call of Duty: Warzone seems to be reaching out to both sides with its latest LTM (limited-time mode): Classic Battle Royale Mode.

Players are tasked with brushing "up on the fundamentals" in this brand new Call of Duty: Warzone mode. It strips down many of the innovations that came with the game, meaning this mode features no buy stations, no contracts, and no gulags. It is a more straightforward experience that may give fans of the original mode something new to do, while giving those who have tuned out of Warzone due to its unique setup a reason to jump back in.

Of course, it is an LTM so it won't last forever. Interested players should check it out while they can, while also checking out the other offerings coming this week. This includes new weapons for the gulag in the standard mode, the Blood Money Quads mode, the new Armor Box item, and more, while Modern Warfare is getting a new bundle, a new gunfight map, and a new Hardhat map based on Modern Warfare 3.

All in all, it's a healthy dose of new content for the week, and fans should be excited that even more is on the horizons. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone's Season 4 are right around the corner, so the franchise is showing no signs of slowing down anytime soon.

Call of Duty: Warzone is out now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
