When it comes to Call of Duty: Vanguard, the rumored title for the 2021 Call of Duty game, there has been no shortage of leaks. For months, leakers have pointed to Call of Duty: Vanguard having a World War 2 setting, and now there's even more evidence pointing in that direction. A big leak has potentially confirmed not just Call of Duty: Vanguard's setting, but also its release month and some of its game modes.

In a new report by VGC, it's claimed that Call of Duty: Vanguard will launch in November for current- and next-gen consoles, likely meaning PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X, as well as PC. The report states that Call of Duty: Vanguard will have a World War 2 setting, as previous leaks have indicated, though there's no mention of the game also being set in the 50s as some other leaks have indicated.

The VGC report also touches on Call of Duty: Vanguard's game modes. Unsurprisingly, Call of Duty: Vanguard will have a campaign, multiplayer, and Zombies. While this may seem like a given, there have been Call of Duty games without Zombies modes in the past, with 2019's Call of Duty: Modern Warfare skipping it. However, it seems Zombies fans don't have to worry about this year's Call of Duty game dropping the fan favorite mode.

More specific details on Call of Duty: Vanguard's Zombies mode, its multiplayer, or its campaign are not revealed in the report. The only other detail is that the Call of Duty: Vanguard campaign will supposedly be about how the Special Forces were formed from World War 2, though what exactly that will entail remains to be seen. Ultimately, Call of Duty fans will have to wait for an official reveal to find out more.

Unfortunately, it's unclear when the Call of Duty: Vanguard reveal will happen. VGC notes in its report that Call of Duty: Vanguard will not be at E3 2021, which is something Activision itself confirmed. Instead Activision will use the upcoming Summer Game Fest kickoff event to reveal Call of Duty: Warzone Season 4. Anyone interested can tune in to the Summer Game Fest event on June 10 at 11am PT, taking place just prior to E3 2021 kicking off this weekend.

It's been said by leakers in the past that Call of Duty: Warzone will be used to reveal Vanguard, so Call of Duty fans will want to keep their eyes open as they play the game this summer.

Call of Duty: Vanguard is rumored to be releasing this November for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
