There has been a ton of discussion revolving around the FFAR in Call of Duty: Warzone. Despite several nerfs, the weapon has still managed to dominate multiplayer experiences, with many lobbies featuring the weapon across community loadouts. It has become increasingly obvious that the Call of Duty: Warzone FFAR is still powerful, and one loadout may optimize it even further.

The FFAR was nerfed in Call of Duty: Warzone as the developers added an increase to ADS times. In general, this made the weapon risky in 1v1 situations, but the FFAR still held its ground on damage and range. The weapon continues to dominate the meta, and fans everywhere are taking advantage of its lethal potential.

In a recent video, content creator NICKMERCS has discussed the nerf and made a note of its reduced viability. Despite this, NICKMERCS has a new weapon set up that will allow different players with different speeds to take advantage of the FFAR. In core, the FFAR is a bullpup assault rifle that has appeared in several Call of Duty: Black Ops titles.

The weapon comes with a variety of attachment options, and depending on the Call of Duty: Warzone loadout, fans can get a wide range of options from the gun. Traditionally the weapon is designed for long to medium-range combat, but some loadouts can optimize it for close range if needed.

NICKMERCS FFAR Loadout

  • Muzzle - Agency Suppressor
  • Barrel - 21.2″ Ranger
  • Stock - Raider Stock
  • Underbarrel - Infiltrator Grip
  • Ammunition - STANAG 50 Rnd

Unlike other loadouts, NICKMERC's Call of Duty: Warzone FFAR does not compensate for the nerf. Instead, the weapon focuses on adding damage and range, making it a potent killer in a variety of situations. The Agency Suppressor and 21.2" Ranger accomplish this goal well, while the Infiltrator Grip offers a reduced recoil on the weapon. Due to its high firing rate, the STANAG 50 RND clip is a must-have attachment to survive lengthy encounters.

This class is best for use while the FFAR is still viable. Many Call of Duty: Warzone meta's have been patched by the developers, and it is unknown how long this build will remain relevant. As the game continues to evolve through each season, new weapons and loadouts cycle as fast as the content appears within the game.

Call of Duty: Warzone's FFAR is only one of two major weapons being used by fans in the game. Alongside it is the AUG SMG which offers a close-quarters counter to balance out the FFAR's long-distance potential. While NICKMERCS offers this as his personal twist, players are free to adjust any loadout build to their own personal taste.

Call of Duty: Warzone is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
