As of right now, there are a ton of amazing guns in Call of Duty: Warzone and endless possibilities with the gunsmith feature. Players are able to use the feature to construct guns with different attachments and make all kinds of crazy and powerful combinations.

However, there are still some guns from past Call of Duty games that fans want to see make a return in some way or form. These guns could add more variety to the game and give players the chance to try out iconic weapons from the past. Here are 10 weapons that should be added to Warzone.

10 ACR

There has been a couple of interesting versions of this gun throughout the Call of Duty games but one that stands out the most is the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 version of the ACR. It was an extremely fun gun to use and stood amongst some of the best assault rifles in the game.

It was practically a laser beam with it's little to no recoil, making it a perfect gun for players that didn't have great accuracy. The sound of the gun was quite satisfying and it looked pretty awesome with the red dot attachment. It'd be great to see it return in Warzone to compete with some of the other assault rifles in the game.

9 SPAS-12

The SPAS-12 was a very powerful shotgun in Modern Warfare 2. Sometimes it was a bit too powerful but was interesting as a secondary option if it came down the player's primary gun not having ammo and not having a perk that allowed for resupply.

There weren't really any super amazing attachments for the SPAS-12, as it really came down to preference. It would be interesting to see the Spas-12 return in Warzone as shotguns are surprisingly not very strong compared to most of the other weapons. Multiplayer is much different as shotguns are much better with the current map design.

8 Intervention

At the moment there is really not a ton of variety when it comes to snipers in Warzone. The HDR and AX-50 are solid picks but they don't really have any other worthy competitors. The Intervention was a fan favorite sniper from Modern Warfare 2 and would be great to see added to Warzone.

Snipers are extremely strong in the current state of the game and it would be better for players if they had more variety instead of everyone just using the same setups. The Intervention could be a sniper that's better suited for closer engagements as opposed to the others that are used for long-range battles.

7 M40A3

Like the intervention, the M40A3 is another iconic sniper in the series. It was introduced in Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare and reappeared again in Modern Warfare Remastered. Both guns were very similar, but the remastered version had some visual changes that made it look much better.

As said with the Intervention, Warzone does not have a ton of variety when it comes to snipers. Most of the snipers in the game aren't viable in Warzone and it'd be great to have those weapons buffed as well as have the M40A3 added as an additional sniper.

6 M16A4

The M16 has appeared in almost every Call of Duty game to date and was one of the best guns to use in most of them due to its extremely powerful three-round burst. It's kind of possible to use in Warzone but takes some tinkering around with the gunsmith feature using an M4A1 to make something similar to the M16.

The version in the original Modern Warfare was quite powerful and was one of the most used guns in the game. It'd be great to see it make a comeback to rival some of the other assault rifles in Warzone.

5 TAR-21

The TAR-21 with a silencer is an iconic combo from Modern Warfare 2. It was a really fun gun to use and was one of the few weapons that had extremely low recoil.

The RAM-7 in Modern Warfare is a bit similar to the TAR-21 but doesn't offer the same satisfaction as using the original weapon. It'd be great to see it added in a future season with some of the other nostalgic weapons from the older games.

4 G36C

The G36C was a fairly underused gun in Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare and even Modern Warfare Remastered. It didn't stand out a lot in multiplayer but was rather an interesting gun to use because of its look.

It's appeared in a ton of other first-person shooter games and while Warzone does have a variety of different assault rifles already, the G36C could be really cool paired up with the gunsmith feature. It's a nostalgic weapon and would be a ton of fun to use once again.

3 M93 Raffica

The M93 Raffica was kind of a hidden gem in Modern Warfare 2. It was a burst-fire machine pistol that was very fun to use and made a great secondary weapon. It was the perfect backup for when the player's primary weapon ran out of ammo and stood out amongst other pistols in the game.

Some players were even able to achieve a tactical nuke by just using this weapon. It'd be great to have it return in Warzone and bring pistols back into the meta.

2 Model 1887

Anyone that has played Modern Warfare 2 has either great memories of the Model 1887 or bad ones. When the game was first released in 2009, the Model 1887 was an extremely powerful shotgun in a long-range or close-range engagement. Upon progressing with the weapon through challenges, the akimbo feature could be unlocked that enabled dual wielding for the weapon.

This made it even stronger to the point where it was completely overpowered until it later received a big nerf. Given the current selection of shotguns, the Model 1887 would be a worthy addition to Warzone as long as it isn't overpowered again.

1 BOS14

The BOS14 was a quite unique assault rifle that was added as DLC for Modern Warfare Remastered. What made this gun so unique was that it was one of the very few guns in the game that has great iron sights and didn't really require any specific attachments to make it more viable.

Everything worked with this gun, even barebones with nothing unlocked. It would definitely make a great gun in Warzone for close-range encounters and could be great for fast-paced players if it were added.
