Call of Duty: Modern Warfare season 3 begins tomorrow, with Infinity Ward now releasing a launch trailer detailing what fans can expect of the new season. New content for it, as well as Call of Duty: Warzone, the increasing popular battle royale game, will drop, and there's plenty coming.

The trailer opens by revealing a few new details for Call of Duty: Warzone, namely that 4-man Squads for the game will be coming alongside Modern Warfare season 3, and it'll even introduce a few new vehicles for the battle royale title as well.

As far as Modern Warfare itself is concerned, it shows off a couple of the operators in action, including the character who appears to be Alex from the main Modern Warfare campaign. Avoiding potential spoilers, it's worth noting that his leg is now gone and replaced with a prosthetic, which may undermine the campaign. No one is really going to complain about seeing the character some more, though. He'll be playable instantly with the purchase of the Season 3 Battle Pass.

Additionally, three maps are confirmed for Modern Warfare: Talisk Backlot, a remake of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare's Backlot; Hovec Sawmill, a brand new map; and Aniyah Incursion, which may be related to Aniyah Palace. New weapons are also a shoe-in, but as seen in the trailer below, they do not get their own spotlight. This should save some surprises for tomorrow, at least.

Prior to this official trailer, an image appeared online teasing a new skin for Operator Alex, so while information seems to be coming at a snail's pace, it seems that there is plenty to go on for the upcoming season.

For now, fans will just need to wait and see what else is coming for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare season 3. It's also nice to see Warzone getting as much support as Modern Warfare moving forward with the franchise.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is available now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Season 3 begins tomorrow, April 8.
