Infinity Ward is making an effort to support Australia in the midst of the ongoing bushfire disaster. Today the studio announced plans to offer a Call of Duty: Modern Warfare DLC pack named Outback Relief. Modern Warfare players will be able to purchase the DLC, which includes a variety of cosmetics, and have all proceeds for the purchase go to disaster relief. The Outback Relief pack is available now and can be purchased through January 31.

Australia is currently going through a crisis. Wildfires are spread across the entire continent of Australia, with most remaining completely uncontained. Dozens of Australians have died and thousands of homes have burned down, not to mention the millions of wild animals who have wither perished or been driven from their homes. The country needs as much support as it can get. The Outback Relief Pack is a simple and beneficial way for Modern Warfare players to contribute to Australia's disaster relief.

It doesn't appear that Infinity Ward has officially announced which charity or organization will be receiving the proceeds of the Outback Relief Pack just yet. The decision is likely still being made behind-the-scenes. Bungie, for comparison's sake, is contributing donations for a Destiny 2 t-shirt it will be selling to an animal conservation charity and a volunteer firefighter organization. Infinity Ward will likely contribute the Outback Relief funds to similar charities.

As for what players will receive in the Outback Relief pack, there are a variety of cosmetics. Most prominent among them is the Bushranger Operator skin, which has an Australian flair to it. Another special item is the adorable koala bear weapon ornament, which is a great way to show a player has contributed to the relief effort. Also included is an exclusive sniper rifle variant skin, as well as a battle pass tier upgrade for a free level.

The Outback Relief pack is available now in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. It was even released several days ago, with Infinity Ward only just announcing that proceeds from the DLC pack's sales will be going to disaster relief. Modern Warfare players can purchase the DLC for 1800 COD Points. 2,400 COD Points can be purchased online for $19.99 pre-tax. If people can afford 1,300 COD Point Battle Passes then hopefully they can contribute some to help Australia, too.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is available now on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
