The Call of Duty franchise has been well known for its bombastic and action-heavy campaigns over the years, and this year's entry looks to continue that trend. Following the return of Captain Price and the Modern Warfare brand, attention has been squarely focused on the popular multiplayer side of the game, and as a result, Infinity Ward has posted a new trailer with even more Call of Duty: Modern Warfare multiplayer gameplay.

The latest trailer from Infinity Ward is a hefty 24 minutes of pure gameplay for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare spread out over 5 different multiplayer maps, including one nighttime variant. Captured in 4K on a PlayStation 4 Pro, each map features a new game mode which mixes in fan-favorite modes with a few new ones as well.

Fans can get a taste of classic game modes Headquarters, Team Deathmatch, and Domination on the maps Grazna Raid, Azhir Cave, and Gun Runner. The last map in the list, Gun Runner, has been seen previously, but players can get a different look at it in Domination.

Azhir Cave features a series of caves surrounding a small village, and the night version of this map takes on a whole different style, thanks to the constant green night vision hue. Fans also get a look at Aniyah Palace, which shows off gameplay from the alternative 5 Flag Domination. Instead of the traditional three capture zones, players now have five to worry about.

New this year is Cyber Attack, which is the featured mode on the Hackney Yard map. The object of this Modern Warfare mode is to retrieve an EMP device and plant it near the enemy's data center. Players carrying the EMP lose access to their gun, which adds a layer of challenge for someone trying to do this solo. Either kill all opponents or defend the planted EMP device for thirty seconds to win the round.

While not every multiplayer feature made the cut, such as the interesting Buddy Boost system, this Call of Duty: Modern Warfare gameplay trailer does show off a lot of other elements. In addition to the more basic rewards like the UAV and care packages, the gameplay highlights the Juggernaut gear, personal super abilities, and the highly controversial and devastating White Phosphorous airstrike during the Aniyah Palace portion.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare releases October 25, 2019, for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
