Call of Duty Mobile has several new updates that continue to add to its anniversary content. As is common in other Call of Duty titles, Call of Duty Mobile has added several new game modes for fans to enjoy.

So far, the anniversary content has been relatively well-received by the community. Since the original launch of Call of Duty Mobile, the game has received almost 500 million downloads across the world. Recently, Call of Duty Mobile was opened to China which quickly increased the count by another 50 million downloads.

Several new game modes have been added to Call of Duty Mobile including a brand new one that has interested many members of the community. The new Secondary Weapon Game Mode is similar to a standard Call of Duty 5v5 deathmatch, but players only have access to their secondary weapons. This means it is a brawl to the death with pistols, knives, axes, and any other secondary weapons available in the game. This is a great chance to practice the lesser-used weapon in each player's loadout for those rare instances where the primary gun has run out of ammo. As is a common saying in professional circles, it is always faster to switch to a secondary rather than reloading.

Call of Duty Mobile also received a new Capture and Hold game mode which is similar to capture the flag. Each team has one flag base, and they must fight over the golden flag located in the center. Players battle against enemy combatants across two four-minute rounds with the goal of scoring three flags.

The last new playlist is a 10v10 Rust Call of Duty Mobile playlist which opens up the large map to a wide array of game modes. Players will battle it out on the map Rust with the goal of scoring 150 kills for their team. This is one of the larger game modes to be featured, but many fans are saying it is good fun for the mobile audience.

Sadly, several other game modes had to be removed to make room for new features. Pumpkin Confirmed, Halloween Standoff, and Attack of the Undead have all been removed despite fan participation. Many players hope to see the game modes return next Halloween or maybe get revised for release during a Christmas event.

Do keep in mind that Undead Fog and the Hardcore Collection are available for a few more days. These are limited-time game modes so their time is ticking before they too get inevitably replaced.

Call of Duty Mobile is available on iOS and Android devices.
