A desync glitch that makes some enemies invincible in Call of Duty: Mobile has been frustrating players who've had to deal with unkillable enemies ruining their games. But there's good news coming for those players: the devs have confirmed they're working on a patch to fix the issue.

Ever since the game launched Season 8: The Forge earlier this month, Call of Duty: Mobile fans have been getting to play around with the map Highrise, a new multiplayer mode, a new perk, and two new weapons. However, the last few weeks haven't been all fun and games for all players. Some have reported getting in situations where they are seemingly hitting their opponents, but the enemy's view from the killcam would show no bullets being fired.

This is a lot more annoying than a similar glitch in Warzone that made players invincible because no one wants to experience getting in a great shot and thinking they've killed their enemy but then seeing that the opposite has happened. Activision shared in a community update on July 16 that it has been keeping its finger on the pulse of the community in the wake of the new season, and that it has a plan to address the desync issue.

In the post, Activision made it clear that the invincible enemies desync is a glitch it's been hearing a lot about and one that the devs are focusing a lot of attention on. It may not be an easy fix, though, as Activision says the issue "hasn't been an easy one to narrow down." But it followed this up by saying it thinks the cause has been found and a fix is on the way. This glitch isn't as game-breaking as, say, underground helicopters in Call of Duty: Warzone, but the desync has frustrated a lot of players.

Activision is planning to implement some server/client optimizations in the next update, and that the fix won't be immediate but that the devs aren't giving up and this is "on [their] minds daily." This section of the post ended with sending a big thank you to all the players who sent in reports and information regarding the issue. Both Activision and Infinity Ward have been very active in listening to player concerns and addressing bugs and glitches in the Call of Duty games.

If Call of Duty players are experiencing any glitches in their games, the best thing to do is to contact support as well as to talk about the issue online and see if the community has any fixes. Some Modern Warfare and Warzone are currently experiencing issues with invincible enemies, and while the community waits for the devs to release a patch, several players have good workaround ideas that they've shared online.
