Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Guide - All New Scorestreaks

COD Infinite Warfare - Mech Scorestreak

Check out all of the new Scorestreaks added to Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, including a remote controlled mech, some twists on drones, and really damaging future tech.

With every Call of Duty, there are a few expectations that come with the game’s multiplayer. In some cases that is a certain set of modes, in others it is a specific selection of perks, and in others it means Scorestreaks or Killstreaks. Lucky for fans, then, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare has the regular bevvy of all three.

Speaking specifically about Scorestreaks, Game Rant was able to go hands-on with Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare’s multiplayer to see each of the Scorestreaks in action. Since this is a futuristic shooter, the expectation was that Infinite Warfare might offer some interesting twists on the typical streak-based rewards, and we were not disappointed.

As one might expect, the usual selection of Scorestreaks will be available to players, like the UAV, missile drops, and care packages. However, there are also some slight changes to the Scorestreaks as well, like the Shock Sentry instead of the usual machine gun turret and the RC-8, which is the giant mech Scorestreak that the player can let move automatically or control themselves.

Let’s take a closer look at all the new Scorestreaks for Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare:

UAV (200 Points) – the UAV is nothing new to the world of Call of Duty, it highlights enemies for a brief period via a ping, showing their general location on the map.

Scarab (450 Points) – the Scarab is a flying version of the typical Call of Duty detonation drone. The player flies the device around the map and detonates it on an enemy or group of enemies.

Drone Package (550 Points) – the Drone Package is Infinite Warfare’s version of the Care Package, which drops a random Scorestreak at a desired location, even if it is inside cover. Yes, enemy players can steal the Drone Package.

Counter UAV (600 Points) – blocks enemy players from viewing their mini-map for a limited time.

Vulture (700 Points) – a companion drone that will protect the player as best it can.

Trinity Rocket (750 Points) – like the Predator missile from past Call of Duty games, this is an air-to-ground missile that can break up into multiple explosive projectiles.

Scorchers (800 Points) – a Call of Duty style bombing run, only with jets that fire high energy lasers through a selected path.

Bombardment (850 Points) – a multi-missile strike from a satellite.

Shock Sentry (900 Points) – a turret that fires shock rounds capable of damaging enemies and chaining electricity between them.

Warden (1100 Points) – an escort dropship that will protect the player from the air.

Advanced UAV (1250 Points)Infinite Warfare’s version of the Blackbird or Black Ops 3's H.A.T.R., revealing the enemy’s position and what direction they are facing on the mini-map.

T.H.O.R. (1300 Points) – stands for Tactical High Output Response. The player pilots a missile system up in the air and the missiles can be controlled on their way towards the map.

R-C8 (1450 Points) – an armored mech with a shield and high-powered rifle. Can be controlled manually or left to operate on its own.

AP-3X (1550 Points) – a “super” drone with an arsenal capable of dealing out devastating damage.

Overall, it appears the Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Scorestreak selection will meet players’ expectations. There are a few old stand-bys to help ease players into the experience and some cool new future tech that will likely generate some excitement. It’s also worth mentioning that although the Tactical Nuke is not in the Scorestreak list, there is a weapon in Infinite Warfare that generates a Tactical Nuke after a 25-kill streak. We never got to see it in action while playing Infinite Warfare, but just the announcement of the nuke’s return had fans very excited.
