Zombies are many people’s biggest fear. Another one of people’s biggest fears. Communists. Okay maybe not since the ‘50s but still, at one point, people feared them. What if one game developer was planning on taking your fears and putting them into a Jack Lelane juicer to create  a concoction so terrifying just reading about it will make your blood curdle?

Currently, the rumor around the game news streets is that included with your copy of Call of Duty: Black Ops, will be a Zombie Mode that, this time utilizes Communist Zombies as machine gun fodder.

Currently, this is just a rumor, and is based merely on a second hand account of a start screen viewing, but for now we are sticking to the belief that Treyarch has no plans of include zombie mode in the game. The lack of in-game zombies means the only instance of undead game action might be the zombie map pack included with the Hardened and Prestige Editions.

Though, once again, demolishing zombies of an unfavorable political persuasion would be a treat, this would only be the icing on an already delicious cake. World at War’s multiplayer was a few paces behind Modern Warfare’s and Treyarch knew it.

In an effort to compensate for a lack of depth they added content that would extend the play experience (ie. Nazi Zombies). But with Wager Match having already sold me on anything Black Ops, any form of zombie mode, while appreciated, is unnecessary.

If it were me, I would hold off on the zombie mode until players have become better acquainted with the rich and rewarding multiplayer being put together, then hit them with the zombies. Commie Zombies. Nazi Zombies. Rob Zombies. Any type of zombies included in the game will most definitely satisfy a whole lot of gamers out there. If I were Treyarch, and I know the zombie mode is coming in one form or another, I would let the people have it. While sometimes it is the best idea to keep your hand as close to the chest as possible, when you already have four aces up your sleeve, you can let your guard down.

How do you feel about the possible Communist Zombies Ranters? How would you feel if there were no zombie mode in Black Ops? Let us know in the comments below.
