Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War launches on November 13 and with it, Treyarch is bringing back its incredibly popular Zombies mode. Like with previous Zombies modes, Treyarch has been slow-rolling the release of information regarding the upcoming game. But now with just two weeks until Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War releases, Treyarch's ready to share more. In its latest new announcement, Treyarch shared a ton of info about Zombies mode's Perks, Skill Tiers, and weapon loadouts.

In Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, players will be able to pick from six different Zombies mode Perks at launch. Most of the Perks should be very familiar to players, though there's something new, too. Jugger-Nog increases max health by 50, Quick Revive provides improves regen by 50% and lets players revive others 50% faster, Speed Cola increases reload speed 15%, Stamin-Up increases run and sprint speed, Deadshot Daiquiri removes scope sway and auto-adjusts aiming down sights to target enemy critical hit locations, and lastly Elemental Pop, which gives bullets a chance to apply a random Ammo Mod effect.

Entirely new to Zombies mode in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is that Perks that can be upgraded. Each perk has what Treyarch is calling Skill Tiers. These are permanent upgrades for each Perk and every Perk has three different Skill Tiers. As an example, Treyarch broke down the Elemental Pop Perk's  Skill Tiers. Tier 1 grants a chance to proc a random Ammod Mod Effect on equipment, Tier 2 reduces Ammo Mod cooldowns by 20%, and Tier 3 applies the player's Skill Tier instead of the base when a random Ammo Mod is proc'd.

Lastly, Treyarch promises that more Perks will be released in post-launch. These six Perks are just what will be available for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War's first chapter of Dark Aether "Die Maschine" story.

Treyarch also takes the time to introduce Call of Duty fans to a new Custom Loadouts feature in Black Ops Cold War's Zombies mode. Custom Loadouts allow players to bring all of their unlocked weapons and cosmetics from the base game and Multiplayer into Zombies. It is limited, understandably, given the structure of Zombies mode. Players can bring just a single weapon, as well as a Field Upgrade, in their Zombies loadout. The weapon will have its custom attachments and cosmetics, but starts at a basic Common rarity.

Weapon rarities will allow players to use Custom Loadouts without being overpowered, as players will still either have to upgrade their gun or swap it out for something better in order to get stronger. Needless to say, it sounds like one of the most in-depth systems that Treyarch has tried yet in its Zombies modes.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War releases November 13 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S.
