After an early leak revealed its existence, the full-automatic Streetsweeper shotgun has officially been added to Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. Similar to other shotguns, it does count as a secondary weapon for player loadout options. Still, earning the Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War version of the shotgun requires the completion of an in-game challenge.

An in-game glitch gave players a chance to use the Streetsweeper early back during the beginning of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Season 1. After the developers found out it had been accidentally added they quickly removed the weapon before it could disrupt the meta. Now, the gun is officially available to those who are willing to complete a simple challenge.

The Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War considers the Streetsweeper Shotgun as Shotgun Charlie. The weapon has the fastest fire rate of all the shotguns, a larger ammo pool, and can clear entire rooms due to its fully-automatic nature. The game will most likely compensate the shotgun's impact with reduced damage, but with the attachment options found in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War's gunsmith there is a high chance this can be compensated for.

How to Unlock The Streetsweeper Shotgun

Players can unlock the shotgun for free by completing some in-game challenges. These challenges exist separate to the Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War battle pass as this is an additional gun. With the MAC-10 and Groza available, this is the third new weapon added during Season 1 despite the fact that it is a secondary weapon.

Players must boot up Call of Duty: Warzone or Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and start a match. The challenge is to get a killstreak with a Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War shotgun leaving fans with the options of Gallo SA12 or the Hauer 77. Players must complete this 15 different times so the best option is to complete the challenge, leave the match, and start again. Once the 15th completion is earned, the weapon will be available in the player's create-a-class option.

Players can always bypass the unlock process by purchasing a store variant of the weapon. The Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War blueprint Shock Value bundle sells the weapon immediately and only costs 1,200 COD points. Purchasing this bundle instantly unlocks the weapon and a blueprint variant for future combat needs.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
