Rockstar Games has slowed its output considerably in recent years, though that is to be expected as video games become larger and more detailed than ever before. The past decade saw Rockstar Games release Grand Theft Auto 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2, but there once was a time when Rockstar put out new titles on an annual basis, including the cult classic open world boarding school game, Bully.

Bully is a fan favorite Rockstar Games title to this day, with many praising its unique premise that has never really been followed up on in any meaningful capacity. Rockstar Games did eventually release a remastered Bully: Scholarship Edition, but the franchise has never seen a sequel or proper remake. There have been rumors over the years of a Bully sequel or remake being in development, but nothing official has been announced at the time of this writing.

While Bully fans continue to wait for news on a new game in the series, they can get an idea of what a Bully remake could be like thanks to a pair of new videos uploaded by TeaserPlay. The first video acts as a trailer of sorts for what a Bully remake would be like if it were built using Unreal Engine 5. It shows a more-detailed look for Bully protagonist Jimmy Hopkins, more realistic buildings and lighting, and more.

The second video gives fans an even better idea of how Bully could be improved with a remake. It offers a direct comparison between the Bully Unreal Engine 5 footage and footage of the original game from 2006, showing just how dramatic the changes are in the Unreal Engine 5 version. Seeing these videos may make some fans want a proper Bully remake from Rockstar Games, especially since Rockstar would likely make the game look even better than what's seen in the videos, but it seems the studio is currently too busy working on GTA 6 for now.

This isn't the first Unreal Engine 5 video published by TeaserPlay. Previously, the channel shared its concept of what an Assassin's Creed game set in Japan could be like. That video proved to be particularly popular, and there have been recent rumblings that Ubisoft may finally be releasing a main series AC game set in Japan. However, nothing official to that effect has been announced at the time of this writing, so fans should keep that in mind before getting too excited.

Bully is available mobile, PC, PS2, Wii, and Xbox 360.
