Not too long ago, a new development at a Rockstar studio suggested that Rockstar Games would be announcing its next game soon, with the common thought being that it would be Bully 2 or Grand Theft Auto 6. Either would make fans of the respective franchise happy, yet now, a crazy Grand Theft Auto Online theory suggests that the next game would be Bully 2.
When the online GTA counterpart received its Diamond Casino and Resort DLC, players quickly found a nice little Bully Easter egg. This came in the form of a Canis Canem Edit wall piece found within its penthouse decoration management feature, with that being the European title for Bully. This Easter egg hid a little secret in morse code that, when translated, spells out DNA4 that many think connects to Bully 2.
Of course, DNA4 means nothing and has no special relation to the franchise, yet one Bully 2 fan developed a theory based on the code. By reducing the 4 to a 2, since that would be the number related to the sequel, and then following suit with each letter (taking it back by 2), players get a code that is much more obvious: BLY2. This is clearly tinfoil hat territory, but it would be a MAJOR coincidence if this meant nothing.
Other than the aforementioned development at a Rockstar studio and this hidden morse code double translation, a Bully 2 screenshot of the in-game menu leaked online. It showed the basic outline of most menus and highlighted a new area dubbed Wintersmith Mansion, yet it's possible this was faked. That said, any of these alone could be chalked up to mean nothing, but for all of these to happen within roughly 10 days of each other meaning nothing would be the most cosmic of coincidences.
On top of this, a YouTuber recently claimed to have an inside source at Rockstar Games that informed him Bully 2 would release in 2020 for current and next-gen consoles. Yet, until the developer makes an official announcement concerning its next title, all of this should be taken with a massive grain of salt.
