In 2006, Rockstar's Bully introduced players to 15-year-old James "Jimmy" Hopkins, the game's main protagonist, and Bullworth Academy, a private boarding school that Jimmy is sent to following seven previous expulsions. Now, a new rumor suggests that a forthcoming Bully 2 will continue to follow Jimmy's exploits, but, according to the rumor, the character has traded in Bullworth Academy for something new.

More specifically, this new Bully 2 rumor indicates that the game will be set at a university, and fans will take control of Jimmy as he attempts to navigate his freshman year. While the original Bully does not end in such a way that necessitates that a sequel pick things up in college, it certainly does not rule it out either. Though some might be sad to leave Bullworth behind for Bully 2, others would undoubtedly be excited to see Jimmy flourish in an altogether new setting.

With respect to the origin of this rumor, one in a long line of Bully 2 rumors, it comes from a Reddit user that cites their sources as "two friends who are very reliable and have worked for places such as Kotaku and PC Gamer." The user also states that they "have a very dear friend who works for Rockstar," but further indications suggests that this Rockstar employee does not confirm, or deny, details on forthcoming Rockstar titles for the user.

As such, the new Bully 2 rumor should be approached with serious skepticism, as the user has not provided much in the way of support for their claims, and there are, currently, only rumors that indicate that Bully 2 is in development. That said, speculating about these types of rumors can certainly be fun, and some will simply enjoy imagining a Bully sequel that sees Jimmy take his next step in academia.

Separately, the Reddit user that has spawned this Bully 2 rumor has also stoked the flames of excitement surrounding Grand Theft Auto 6, a title that some fans expect from Rockstar in the upcoming years. This new Grand Theft Auto 6 leak is extensive, and it claims to offer details on the GTA 6 story and setting. When coupled with the user's Bully 2 leak, Rockstar fans have certainly got a lot to chew on for the time being.
