Bugsnax and the PS5 are just days away at this point, and now fans have access to the full trophy list for that game. Aside from telling players what exactly they'll need to do if they want to snag the platinum trophy, this also gives some insight into what type of game it will be.
When Bugsnax was first announced, fans went wild with speculation. On the surface, it seems like a goofy but enjoyable game, and most viewers seemed to fall in love with its charm immediately. There was a subset of those that watched the trailers that theorized it may actually be a horror game, though. The trophy list doesn't necessarily push fans to either direction.

- Vacation’s End - Complete the main story of Bugnsax.
- 'Got To Catch Them All - Catch 100 unique species of Bugsnax.

- Talkin’ Bout Bugsnax - Interview every Grumpus.
- In The Arms of the Gramble - Donate the max amount of Bugsnax to Gramble’s ranch.
- Know Thy Neighbor - Return every Grumpus to Snaxburg.
- Halfway There - Catch 50 unique species of Bugsnax.
- I’m Stuffed trophy - Fully transform a Grumpus.
- Candid Cryptid trophy - Scan the Snaxsquatch.
- Sundae Best trophy - Transform a Grumpus with Scoopy, Banopper, and Cheery.
- Trippin’ Ball trophy - Stun a Bugsnak with the Trip Shot attached to your Buggy Ball.
- Grab Bag trophy - Empty one biome of all its Snakpods.
Bronze Trophies
- Everybody Gets One - Catch your first Bugnsak.
- Combo Meal - Transform a Grumpus with Bunger, Fryder, and Sodie.
- Launch Party trophy - Stun a flying Bugsnak by launching another Bugsnak at it.
- Midnight Snak trophy - Transform Gramble.
- That Reminds Me of a Puzzle trophy - Solve the secret of the lava cave, or the secret of the dunes.
- Double Trapper trophy - Catch more than one Bugsnak in your Snak Trap at once.
- Say Cheese! trophy - Scan a Grumpus after saucing them with cheese.
- Perf Dirt trophy - Steal Beffica’s diary from her cave.
- Quartermaster trophy - Catch 25 unique species of Bugsnax.
- Gone Home trophy - Find your way to Snaxburg.
- Wonderfalls trophy - Check behind the waterfall for secrets.
The first thing readers should notice when combing through this trophy list is just how zany Bugsnax really seems to be. There's talk of Grumpuses, a Buggy Ball, Snaxsquatch, Bunger, Fryder, and Sodie, and more unique and odd sounding characters and locations. There may still be a lot that fans don't know about Bugsnax, but it's clear that it will lean into its enigmatic nature. On the other hand, there are some hints at a more serious tone, most notably the gold trophy titled Survivor. In order to get this trophy players must have all Grumpuses survive, indicating that they can die in some way.
All that aside, the platinum trophy for Bugsnax seems easy enough to get, but will require players to fully complete a lot of aspects of the game. They must capture 100 unique species of Bugsnax, defeat all legendary Bugsnax, do all the sidequests and fully transform all the Grumpuses. It's not clear just yet how long all that will take, but players gunning for the platinum trophy should be sure to take a thorough and methodical approach as they play through the game. It could be that some of these trophies are missable during a first playthrough, though that isn't known just yet.
Whether or not Bugsnax is hiding something as some fans seem to think or if it really is the cutesy game it's portraying itself as remains to be seen, but fans won't have to wait long to find out. In just a few days, they'll be rescuing Grumpuses, saucing them with cheese, and catching all sorts of Bugsnax. This trophy list seems to be just as bizarre as the game itself, and all of the trophies seem easy enough to complete to make this trophy hunting experience a relatively relaxed one.
