As players progress through the story mode of Bugsnax, they'll need to travel to the Snaktooth Island's various regions in search of the missing Grumpuses. Chandlo and Snorpy are some of the last Grumpuses fans will find themselves recsuing, but in order to so they must catch a Cinnasnail. This is part of the quest called "Slow Your Roll," and is particularly challenging.

Catching the Cinnasnail itself isn't terribly difficult. Bugsnax trains players on how to use its many tools and even encourages them to think outside the box while doing so, but that idea is taken to a whole different level here. Unlike some larger Bugsnax, this critter can simply be captured in the Snak Trap, but it rests far out of reach across the gorge from Chandlo's basketball setup.

Before players start jumping off cliffs in a wild attempt to reach the Cinnasnail, they should instead remember what tools they have available to them. By this point, players should have unlocked almost every tool in the game, but the Lunchpad and the new Snakgrappler will be particularly useful here.

Bugsnax players need to catch Cinnasnax for a quest

As the Cinnasnail is out of reach, players will need to combine three of their tools in order to catch it. First, players should place the Lunchpad close to the edge of the cliff. The closer players can get the better, but it's important to make sure that the Lunchpad is level so things don't roll off of it. Next, place the Snak Trap on the Lunchpad and launch it over to the island with the Cinnasnail.

This may take a few tries, but after managing it, players can close their trap around the sweet snail. Now the player's newest tool, the Snakgrappler, will get to shine. The Snakgrappler can only grab Bugsnax that are ready to be captured with the bug net, but any creature caught inside the Snak Trap is fair game. Using the Snakgrappler, pull the Snak Trap back across the gorge and claim the prize held within, bringing players one step closer to getting Snorpy and Chandlo back to Snaxburg.

It should be said that, as with most Bugsnax in the game, there are other ways to catch it. Players that want to climb tower early and grab the next gadget, the Trip Shot, can stun the Cinnasnail with a well-placed shot. Doing so allows the creature to be Snakgrappled back over, but this is clearly not the intended method.

Bugsnax is available now on PS5.
