Breathedge is a unique survival game that puts players into the outer rims of the galaxy to attend a funeral. The main protagonist is just an average guy who is thrust into the middle of an unfolding conspiracy. There was a wreck while on the way to the funeral and the hearse, along with other vehicles, are mangled in space while stuck in the middle of nowhere. It's up to the player to take control of the main character in Breathedge and find a way to get out of this situation, survive this ordeal, and spread the ashes of his grandfather.

While there are many things to maintain in Breathedge, the main crutch toward survival is finding loot and crafting. Some resources can only be obtained after certain prerequisites have been met. In this case, aluminum can only be found after players have constructed a drill. The blueprints for the drill can be found inside the ship. It's sitting near the processor on top of the table. In order to make a drill players will need:

  • A battery
  • Thick electrical tape
  • Refined material

After players have the drill ready, then it's time to find some aluminum. The best place to find aluminum will be on the asteroid that's behind the ship. It will have a clear "danger" sign on it. A pocket of aluminum will be tucked away on this asteroid and just right-click on the mouse to get it with the drill. Just use the drill to chip away the aluminum to collect it. They can also be found on the large white rocks that are floating around the junk in Chapter 1.

In the early stages of the game, players will be able to collect 3 pieces of aluminum for each pocket. Aluminum is a type of loot that is used to craft many important tools that'll ensure a player's survival. The players won't have any NPC's to worry about and they will be relying on their wits. Alumunium is required if players want to progress to Chapter 2. There will be a segment in Chapter 1 that will have fatal radiation fuming around the area. The only way to bypass it is by making an "Enhanced Spacesuit and Helmet." Therefore, aluminum will be a major component needed to make these pieces of gear.

Players with sharp eyes will be able to see pockets of aluminum fairly easily. They tend to be silver and they will be glistening on the floating rocks around Chapter 1. On top of aluminum, players will also need 2x lead paint and a roll of fabric in order to make the "Enhanced Spacesuit." Thus, the "Helmet" will need glass, lead paint, and plastic so players can craft it. It's recommended to have at least 5x aluminum stored up in order to craft both of these pieces of gear.

Breathedge is available exclusively on PC.
