While fans of Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild still have a while to wait until the sequel is released, there are several Indie games that have come out or are in production that have been inspired by the iconic Legend of Zelda game. One of these upcoming games gives players a unique ability when it comes to rebuilding a town in-game.

Even though Breath of the Wild 2 Collector's Edition was leaked last month, there is still no set date that fans of the franchise can expect to play the game. However, if players want to experience a similar game to Breath of the Wild, there is another game that fans can look forward to with a special twist that fans with the original game had.

Many Breath of the Wild players had hoped that, after they completed the game's main story and defeated Ganon, they could go back and helped rebuild Hyrule to its former glory. However, the original Nintendo title did not let players explore this idea. While this may be the case, a new Indie game inspired by the open-world Zelda title will be giving players this opportunity. This game is called Holomento, and game developer Sean Weech has told fans how he hoped that Hyrule Caste could be upgraded once he had defeated the final boss. Since it's not possible in Breath of the Wild, Weech felt that it would be fun if he added the feature to his own game.

In Holomento, players can upgrade the castle as well as the grounds once the central castle dungeon has been cleared. When players renovate the area, they can clean the grounds by removing boulders and then spruce up the place by planting trees. Once the castle and surrounding area is fully upgraded, Weech says that the location will become a "festive town with streamers and all." Though the indie game is still in development, it is currently scheduled to be released in 2021. However, fans interested in the game's development can find updates on Weech's social media accounts.

Even though fans are hoping that a Nintendo Direct will soon give fans more details about the next Breath of the Wild game, it is encouraging to see how this Zelda game has inspired other creators. Hopefully, fans will be able to play the game sometime in the near future.

Holomento is currently in closed alpha and is scheduled to launch in 2021.
