A dedicated Minecraft player has recreated Zora's Domain and several other regions from The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild. Minecraft has one of the best base-building mechanics, and this gives players the freedom to create essentially whatever they want. And the results are often impressive.

Minecraft has the familiar adventure mode, where players can build their base, collect resources, and try their luck at finding a diamond (and not be unlucky enough to fall into lava). When the player's character is strong enough, they can simply pack up and go face the Ender Dragon, the final boss of the game. Or for those with a more imaginative streak, Minecraft's Creative Mode offers an ideal playground for bringing to life unusual, fun ideas, or replicating areas from other famous games like Breath of the Wild.

Redditor lg_cuber posted the screenshots on the Breath of the Wild subreddit showing their reproduction of Zora's Domain in impressively rich detail. Other images also show recreations of Vah Ruta, Lanayru Promenade, and Naydra the Dragon, showing that Minecraft has room for all games. This is the third update of the work of the player, who also has the YouTube channel Grazzy, which shows the creation process for fans who want to watch.

Lg_cuber revealed in the Reddit post that he plans to recreate the entire Breath of the Wild map in Minecraft and that so far it is almost 25% finished. In the comments of the post, he revealed that including rendering and editing the videos for YouTube, the work of recreating the Breath of the Wild map in Minecraft has taken about 300 hours so far, with 240 hours in world editing and 60+ hours of editing. This is not the first time (and is unlikely to be the last) that a Minecraft player has decided to reproduce another game in a blocky version. Another equally dedicated player decided to recreate the indie hit Undertale in its entirety within Minecraft.

Minecraft can be considered a great success for having a now iconic adventure universe, and for allowing players to create their own experience in Creative Mode. The game has a dedicated community of players and modders, who give Minecraft a new face with visual mods or tools that add new features or gameplay mechanics. It goes beyond and even encourages creativity in real life, with results such as a real-life lamp based on Minecraft's diamond ore.

Minecraft is available now for Mobile, PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
