When does modding video games go too far? Only always, especially for this player PointCrow as he live-streams his heavily-modded Breath of the Wild experience

Heavily modding games for better user experience became wildly popular especially during the Fallout 4 and Skyrim era, famous for its Thomas the Tank Engine mod that turns dragons into trains. While bending over the chopping block, instead of hearing the gracious roar of Alduin, Thomas the Tank Engine will crash land atop the watchtower with a booming toot toot of its whistle. Gamers particularly love editing the aesthetics of their games, and so does the live streamer known as PointCrow on YouTube, as he shows playing Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and it follows a similar vibe to the train mod.

His game boots up to Link, who's been stretched so much that he looks like he's standing in front of a distorting mirror. "Lemme just take out my baguette real quick," PointCrow says, brandishing the long piece of bread as his weapon of choice. His copy of Breath of the Wild is currently running twenty-nine different mods, including a fan-made mod made specifically for the streamer that features large statues of geometric crows cawing in a circle. "But what's that?" He looks off into the distance, where a diamond sword from Minecraft sits in stone. After picking it up, watchers will see that it does 9999 damage.

But that's far from the most bizarre of the mods. He picks up a random tree branch and tells his audience to "get ready" because as he swings it, the Divine Beast Vah Rudania spawns, and not just one. It'll spawn as many Rudanias as he chooses to swing the branch. The Master Sword shoots a laser beam and Master Cycle Zero is now a Toyota. He can also put on a mask to turn Link into Sans from Undertale as flying Goombas chase his vehicle.

It's pretty ridiculous and it doesn't end there. After being chased by Charizard and spawning numerous Vah Rudanias, dropping his frame rate significantly, PointCrow decides he's gotten sick of noodle Link and, after removing all of his clothing and armor, reveals Link's true body underneath: the goose from Untitled Goose Game, equipped with a diamond sword and a Hylian snowboard.

Many more mods are left to discover, and it's definitely worth eighteen minutes that the highlight compilation lasts. For anyone who wants to see how goose Link's saga ends, they should definitely give PointCrow's stream a watch.
